Q: What scent is this? Is it lavender? Lavender is not listed as ingredient.

It used to be a lavender formula but it looks like they changed the scent to lily of the valley, jasmine, rose, ivy, and apricot.

Q: can this be used as shampoo?

I think that it possibly could be used for that I suppose but depending on the type of hair. I would think this might make your kid's hair a little dry. Johnson's has other products that are all in one and I think you might be better off using one of those or a specific shampoo product.

Q: Does using this every night dry out a baby’s skin?

I don't have any children to answer this question. I use this product on myself bc its the only soap that doesn't give me an allergic reaction. it doesn't dry my skin out but they do have the lotion to go with it, if that helps
