A great idea, but a total scam when you realise the battery is non-replaceable. I have to spend £20 a year on something just to help me find my keys? You're having a laugh!If they just made this battery replaceable it would be highly recommended, as it's stylish, the app is intuitive and easy to use, easy to pair to your device and the Tile itself is small and unobtrusive.Far too expensive for me though.

I tried attaching this to my drone to help me find it if i crashed but it isn't loud enough or have the range to find it in a field, but it would be lost forever with this thing until someone tripped over it and decided to try scanning the tag. It would be easier for them to read my phone number off the label i also have on it TBH.I'd say it optimistically has a range of 2-3 metres at best and I probably wouldn't hear it any further than that anyway. i know this is meant to be for finding your keys if you are in the same room but given the size of it i don't think its going to fit in your pocket so your keys are going to have to be in your bag, where you probably wont hear it.tip: make another product to help find real world items, reduce the size of it to no more than 10/20mm diameter/length cylinder and change the speaker from nice soft polyphonic type tones to loud shrill noise. As it is I'm sure its fine for someone that wants to find something lost within arms reach and would appreciate a nice melody to help minimise the effort of turning your head to find it.The only thing i think this would be good for is if i leave it in my car just in case one day it gets stolen, but this is so big they would find the tag and it would be sods law that if this ever did happen the battery would have gone flat and I'd have forgotten to replace it.Nice idea, terrible implementation.

When I am getting ready in the morning or leaving work in the evening there is rarely a day when I don't question where I have put my keys, wallet, or phone! My girlfriend bought me one of these because she was fed up with the daily search to find my items. You can either click the tile itself to find your phone, or use your phone to ring the tiles.It has a range of around 100m, however I'm sure this is tested with direct line of sight. I've found it can find something when its inside the house, however if I leave my keys outside then it may struggle. BUT thats not terrible. The app will store the data of where it was last seen and show it to you on a map so you can find your items again!The only downside I can find to this product is that the batteries have a finite life and once they run out you cannot replace them.They have a life of around a year according to Tile. You can get a discount from Tile themselves on a replacement. But this should really be able to be replaced yourself.

I bought this thinking I have solved my key losing problems. Unfortunately - no I haven't.Since having bought this, I attached it to my keys & tested it, it had worked then, I could find keys given I was inside the house (so the distance wasn't very large, but it was better than nothing).I was a bit disgruntled that the location distance wasn't very good, I expected to be able to find the keys had I say, lost them on the beach.But I was optimistic and decided to use them & see if I got any use out of them.I have since lost my keys twice (inside a house) and they were utterly useless - the bluetooth had stopped working and it hasn't even been a year. My phone can connect to other products' bluetooth fine but it wasn't able to find my tile in the last 2 months!Don't buy it.

they nag you after 12 months of activation to replace the tile even though I have 3 that have been doing that for 6 miths and work fine.Tiles also can not be stopped from calling your iphone. Even if you turn off ntifications and have your phone set to silent or do not disturb two presses fo the button and a ridiculous loud noise eminates from your iphone meaning you get kicked out fo the cinema or told off by your boss.Their support doesn't care.
