Dont use the lanyard or you will lose it
As soon as it came out of the package, i tried it out. The lanyard fell off. Luckily i noticed it. So i taped the break away part to not break away. Now i know for sure i will not lose it. If you use it as designed, you will lose it and only be left with the lanyard. Do not trust the lanyard at all as the break away breaks too easily. Other than that it is an awesome portable kneeler that is great for jobs that you kneel a lot but dont know when you will need it. It makes is super portable to just latch onto to my pouch or even my pants belt loop.I bought 2 and latch them to my tool pouch. If i go without my tool pouch i latch one to my belt loop. It makes it very portable when you need to kneel down. Even one is sufficient for kneeling if not long term. I hate knee pads because they either fall down or feel uncomfortable throughout the day. This is ideal for when you do not know you are going to be kneeling, or very little. If i knew i was kneeling for hours on end throughout the day, i may prefer a large one for both knees. But this works very well. You just cannot move your knees much when using 2 of them because there is not enough room. You may have to adjust them based on what you are doing. But for the sheer portable aspect, it is worth it. I love being able to clip one to my belt loop and have it on me the entire day kneeling randomly. Just be sure to not trust the break away and it is ingenious.EDIT:After using it for a couple months...If i know i am going to kneeling a lot, i obviously bring the bigger one. But i often carry one hooked to my belt loop or tool pouch for the times that pop up out of know where at work. It really makes it comfortable and bearable working on my knees. I no longer carry both as they swing around too much with both. But i use one and kneel on it while i leave my other leg touching the floor with my foot. In the result it is for short term kneeling at random times. It is great though when you need it. I havent lost it yet due to taping the break away shut.

Glad I went with this over knee pads.
Having a job that requires me to kneel down on concrete several times a day, my knees quickly started to feel discomfort. I didnt want knee pads, because they can slip, and I don't really have the time to stop amd fix them, so this is perfect. Mine, unlike several other reviewer's, actually came with the lanyard. Good size, perfect for 1 knee to sit comfortably. Haven't had them long, so can't speak on their durability, however they seem well made. Very comfortable, and I would recommend them.

Product did not arrive with everything its stated to be sold with.
Purchased 2 of these along with their other larger size pads.... NO LANYARDS on either of them.... Clearly states on the back of the pad that it's supposed to have caribiner and lanyard.

I ordered this pad to hook on to my tool belt with the lanyard it was to come with but I received just the pad which seemed nicely made but the other main part didn’t come with it. Returned

Great if you dont lose it the first day...
The knee pad itself is great- but the clip broke w/in minutes of opening the bag and I lost the kneepad the same day because the cord they provide you with comes unhooked incredibly easy.
