Wow, how is it possible to get such a rich sounding, great looking harmonica for under $20?! I had a Hohner Special 20 key of C harmonica for the last 10 years. The little pieces of metal started to come off & fly into my mouth after about 5 years of playing it. Then holes would not play sound sometimes. The sickly grey case of the Hohner looks so unattractive & cheap. The writing on the top of the Hohner harmonica was hard to see that often, I would accidentally start playing it upside down. I paid over $40 for that Hohner which was the biggest rip-off. I bought it because the harmonica songbooks suggested it.But do NOT listen to the suggestions from songbooks. This new harmonica is longer in size than the Hohner Special 20; is a beautiful black colour with all lettering clearly painted in a gold colour; plays with a much more richer sound than the Hohner. The case is very beautiful compared to the Hohner case. I may never buy another Hohner again if there are other harmonicas such as this one!

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my grandson. He turned 12 this year. He has autism & is very musically inclined. He plays keyboard, percussion, sings, & a bit of guitar. He’s never mentioned a harmonica; but, I thought he might like it. I wasn’t sure as he was born w/ a lot of health issues including problems w/ his lungs. I wasn’t sure he could generate the air required to play the harmonica as I don’t know how much it requires. Turns out I didn’t need to be concerned. My grandson went crazy when he opened the small case & saw his new blue harmonica. He got the hang of it right away & has been practicing w/ it daily. He wasn’t happy when he couldn’t take it to camp on April vacation. This is a terrific beginner’s harmonica & has a nice tone. It has a sturdy feel to it. I think I’ll be looking for a beginner book for him to help him learn from. He is really loving this. He’ll be in the jazz band next year. I’m hoping he can bring this instrument along w/ him.

Grandson loves it, we each have one and have a blast blasting out random 🎶 tunes.

Is this the best Harmonica you can buy, NO.Is it the loudest, NO.Does it still sound better than the two other brand I have, YES!Pretty decent loud great for a beginner. Good price nice way to feel to it comes with a box and it cleaning cloth if you need a harmonica Thunder is to go to for this harmonica.I have the full se of the Fender Blues Deville harmonicas and just wanted something to carry with me daily to screw around with in my down time. This sounds just as good as the Blues Deville but it is quieter which I'm super excited about because I dont need everyone hearing me play and if I break or lose it then im just out $15 in stead of more.

Bought for my sister for a gift. She mentioned she wanted one. She liked it. Appearance looks like a more expensive one, with a nice case and soft material inside. Sounds quality is nice for the price
