This is a perfect replacement for the factory cable for my old Sony UWP wireless kit. I used it to connect my receiver to the XLR input of my Powered DJ speaker system and it worked flawlessly. The cable is a bit thicker than my original Sony cable. The plugs all seat securely and the threaded end screwed in securely to the receiver. It all worked perfectly and I couldn't ask anything more of this cable. I bought a second just to have as a backup because these are not something you can stroll into a Best Buy on a Saturday and walk out with.

Works well on my Sony Wireless Lavs and it is a good price at $17 versus $41 for the Sony version.

Handy Connector for Home Studio recording.I play around with Home Music Recording. As such, I always run into Connector incompatibility issues.My main mixer board uses all TRS inputs. All of my Audio equipment, and USB audio computer interfaces use standard audio connectors such as XLR connectors.This connector has saved me many times.Thumbs up. :-)

The 3.5mm pin is way too short. When I plugged it into my laptop and connected the xlr to my mixer, no music came out of the speakers. I played with the 3.5mm plug and when I pushed it in hard into the laptop, sometimes the music could be heard. The sound was terrible and distorted. The music would not play after a few seconds until I played with the 3.5mm again. I would not buy this product again. I returned it the next day!
