Works, but very small collection bag
Well first off, it does work. I needed something to get all the fine dirt and silt particles from the floor of my 12'x30" above ground pool. I wasn't having any luck finding a vacuum that would attach to the pump that came with my Intex pool. I found out that the bag on the Aqua Broom fills up VERY quickly. I'm sure it won't be so bad once I get all the debris out and the pool thoroughly cleaned once. The upkeep from there on out shouldn't be too bad, but I had let my pool go too long.It does come with 3 collection bags (1 regular, 2 extra fine mesh). I put on an extra fine mesh right away because I knew it would need it as all the particles on the floor went through my skimmer net mesh. I found the best thing to do was take a bucket, fill it with pool water, and set it on the ground next to the pool. Then when the vacuum bag fills up, remove the vacuum from the pool BEFORE turning off (otherwise any debris near the opening of the vacuum falls back into the pool), and use the bucket of water to rinse off the mesh bag. I was surprised that what looked like little piles of particles in the bottom of my pool, turned out to be mud in the vacuum bag!So, how do you know when your vacuum bag is full? If you've sucked up about a handful (1 hand, not 2) of debris, it's probably time to empty it.

I don't know if this thing works or not. ...
This item was just delivered today. It has taken me an hour to get the head twisted off the battery chamber. Both parts are plastic and you have to be careful not to break it. Thank goodness I remembered that I have a grip or strap wrench. If you purchase this item, you may need to order a strap or grip wrench along with it. It works well as long as you don't have a lot of debris. This is for small jobs bc the debris bag is tiny. The suction is much better than I expected. However, I continue to have a great deal of difficulty removing the head from the battery chamber....design flaw.

Great for pop up pools
The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it should have come with an extension handle (IMO). The sitch is a twist on/off (like a small flashlight) so if you twist it all the way "on" it is a little difficult to twist it "off", esp since your hands are wet. But if you twist it just enough to turn it on, and not all the way, it is easy to twist off. Hope that makes sense. Otherwise it works great for our 13' pop up pool. It picked up sand and dirt from the bottom of the pool with ease in one shot. My 6 year old can do it. Easy to clean.

It would probably work if you use it from day ...
It would probably work if you use it from day one. But we live on a farm with lots of dust, and when you are trying to play catch-up it was rough. I filled in seconds and would loose suction.

Nice!
For the price, this is a nice little tool. It really cleans up all of that little stuff t the bottom of the spa! Only thing is---you have to take it apart and clean it often, it only has a little bag. On the up side they sent a replacement as well!

Good broom with faults
Broom is pretty cool just hard to turn on and off instead of the twist feature they need a switch on it instead
