Best for Mini Goldendoodles
I think the main issue with the blade reviews has a lot to do with the application of use. A blade could be great but just not for what someone might be trying to cut with it on an electric trimmer. We bought different Andis blades to try them out and find the one that works best and so sharing what worked for our dogs hair type here. The 7 Skip Tooth is by far the best for our two mini golden doodles. We tried the 10F, 7FC/7F, 7 Skip Tooth, 5 Skip Tooth, 4 Skip Tooth, 3F, and a few others (different trimmers and blade types). Skip Tooth made a difference with all of them but the 7 Skip Tooth works by far the best on their fur which gets matted when long. When trimming fur that isn't matted - the 7 skip tooth took less than 10 minutes to do a good home grooming job per dog. I oiled the blade a few times and let it cool down once per dog for a few min too (and also use the Andis Cool Care spray on the blades which I found to be good too). Done 4 different and complete trim jobs so far and blade is working great.
