Nice cherry boards
I ordered two 36" boards for a small woodworking project I needed to complete. The boards arrived quickly and were of good quality. Both boards were straight and knot free, just like I needed them to be. My finished project turned out great!

True to size
The boards come in true to size and finished on all noted sides. Boards are square and surfaces on the faces. Board appearance for my pack was great and free of imperfections such as cracks or knots. Overall a very nice looking pack of boards

One issue....Each of the boards have 3" of snipe on one end....
So this will be a copy and paste for their other order of Maple thatI ordered.Lets start with the good...The cherry looks decent throughout the length of the boards...no cracks or anything major that would be an instant return....The length 48" is correct and 6 inch width (in case you don't know, they aren't listed like the industry standard meaning if your buying 6" width that is what you get, unlike most places that the listing is a 1/2 over because of measurement before drying)So now the part I'm not happy with. Both orders, two boards at 48" have 3 inches of snipe on all 4.While I can run them through myself and remove it I'm still a bit annoyed that they are using a planer that is A: cheap or B: is not set up correctly. And then gave the ok to send them.I would be ok with either if they cut 51" and chopped the 3" off and not pass that on to the customer....but apparently they do.And personally, having ordered from Barrington Hardwoods a few times now with boards the same length and width and receiving those with no snipe at all....that's how it should be and how a customer should expect the product. Not everyone has a planer or not an industrial and I feel a company that literally sells wood would absolutely be expected to have one and these issues with cheaper planers or poor setup shouldn't be at a company in there line of work....Its not worth me packing them back up and have to wait another week to hopefully get ones that are planed correctly and I'll take my own time to remove their mistake but I gave this place a chance and personally I can't chance ordering again....maybe if one of the two orders didn't have the issue I would give them another chance but all boards came like that....but that why I order....to see if they are done right or not.Anyway, good luck to them and hopefully they correct what is actually a fairly simple fix....customers deserve smooth boards that are the same thickness throughout.

Good
Very slight difference in width that I had to even up with my router, a few less than desirable check marks but was able to get what I needed from the product.
