Great set for beginners, at a great price.
I bought these when I got into my new fitness regime. During the Lockdown the demand for Dumbbells and weight sets has skyrocketed, with Gyms being closed and the increase of Home Workouts. I, personally, hate going to the gym, so thought picking myself up a set of weights couldn't hurt, and would take my muscular training to the next level. These were a great price. They immediately caught my eye, as many other brands and sellers have increased their prices astronomically as a result of increased demand. These were about half or less of the price of other dumbbells on the market. Now don't be afraid - yes they're cheaper. Yes - they aren't cast iron, but the weight is accurate and the metal powder within is held perfectly. The weights themselves, their texture is great - allowing for grip. What I found best about these was that their increments are great. You can easily have a 2kg dumbbell and as soon as you're ready, up it to a 5kg, or a 7. This is perfect for beginners as it can allow them to steadily increase their strength without over exerting. They arrived packaged perfectly and with no dents/damage. Each was individually wrapped and the seals to prevent the metal powder from escaping was tight and the powder had no way out. What I love about them is that you can have two dumbbells, for simultaneous arm exercises on each, and don't have to purchase another set for a full bar. It's ingenious. Screwing in both handles in the padded tube allows for one long bar, capable of having all the weight on, and allowing the customer to do full weight bench presses. However, there are a few issues. The nuts on the end of the weights come loose after a few reps, which is dangerous. However, the weights are not in any danger of falling off if you tighten the nuts between sets. This also teaches you about Gym etiquette (having all the weights sweat free and all tightened) and makes sure to keep you aware. The other is that the two dumbbell handles have no padding at all and are made with quite slippy red plastic with little grip. Although it hasn't happened yet, sometimes I worry about it simply rolling out of my hands after they get sweaty.Other than those two issues - they're perfect for beginners, allowing you to save the other money in your budget for some other gym equipment, or something else on your wishlist.

Good
Good dumbell set was a bit disappointed the total weight was 20kg that's 10kg each arm. Well 9.5 so a fraction less than 20kg in total. Not gonna quble about a few kg here or there. Maybe that was my nievity thinking it was 20kg each arm. Iv not had any issues with the bolts unscrewing themselves between sets. Just make sure they're really tight and you shouldn't have any issues.

Simple to set up and use.
I bought this product to use at home. It is very easy to use and put away, they give simple instructions that anyone can interpret and find simple to to assemble/ disassemble. However, I did find that if you use the long bar it does tend to get lose as you work out so you need to retighten multiple times throughout a workout. The value for money is very worth it for the amount of weight you receive.

Nice weights
the plastic is coarse and rough but they aren't there to look pretty. Does the job. The bar is great.

Cheap price, cheap quality
Not bad for the price I paid (£27 but it seems to have gone up since) but you can definitely tell it’s a cheap product. The bar is wrapped in a weak threaded plastic to be able to screw the end caps on. After using it a couple of times a week for ~3 months is already snapped in 2 places (on one side where it screws into the centre bar and one of the outside tips has snapped off inside of its end cap). The end caps also don’t stay on very tight. After putting it down and picking it back up the slight nudge of one of the weights will loosen the cap and cause it to spin during your reps. I imagine it could fall off and do some damage if you don’t retighten the caps between each set. It’s also pretty uncomfortable to hold. The dumbbells have a rough plastic grip with imperfections that poke into your hands. It’s not painful but it definitely stands out when you’re squeezing it or it’s pressing down into your hand. The foam on the barbell feels alright, but it’s so short that you’re forced to always use the dumbbell grips. The weights also came covered in a strange grease like other people have mentioned, but didn’t smell as they made out. Definitely not pleasant though. I cleaned them up with a few paper towels and it hasn’t come back though.Tldr: it’s not bad if you want something cheap to use every so often, but if you want something comfortable that’s not going to break in places within a couple months look elsewhere.

For beginner plastics rods
Overall worth it for beginner only. Total weight is 19.xxkg a bit less than 20kg but ok. Not sure if it will be ok for addition weight to be added later when you need more since the rods are hard plastics but I believe they are quite strong.
