Best monitor in this price range!
Hands down, this is the BEST monitor you can get in this price range. I have this monitor and the FH7, they are both great monitors and I like the T7 a bit more because the HDMI in and out are on the side instead of the bottom, which makes it easier for me to mount the monitor onto a quick release plate. The quick release plate is larger so it tends to get in the way of the FH7 HDMI port. The T7 feels sturdy and has an aluminum housing, which I love as it gives the monitor more protection. I love this brand and what they stand for, providing the most value to filmmakers all around the world. Highly recommend this company!

Great monitor, but first unit was broken
The first unit I received was displaying a bunch of vertical lines even without input. Amazon quickly sent a replacement unit. The monitor is large, bright, and provides several useful tools. You should test the monitor out before taking it on an important shoot so you can get used to using it for nailing exposure. It's so bright that you may have a tendency to underexpose your scene. It does have false color and a histogram, but I really wish it had a waveform too. Also, my camera setup has the HDMI output on the left side of the camera, whereas the HDMI inputs are on the right side of the monitor. I would have preferred that the inputs also be on the left side, but not a big deal.

Very good field monitor. For the price, I would buy again.
I really like this monitor. For the price, it is nice and bright and works good for monitoring video on my DSLR. I was split between this (T7) and the (T756) but went with the T7 because it has aluminum housing (hopefully that makes it more durable). So far no regrets. This puts out nice and clear images and makes it so much easier to see what I'm shooting. Recently I shot a local drama production and having the external monitor was extremely helpful. Considering purchasing the (T756) to see what the difference is besides the aluminum housing and HDMI placement.Pros:Good priceBright and clear (resolution seems good)Seems pretty sturdy and well madeTakes fairly standard sony NP F-series batteries. Don't have to buy proprietary batteries.Cons:No AC adapter. No battery included, but that' ok since I already had batteries for my LED panel lights. Not a touch screen
