Love this back scratcher really reaches any itch you can’t with a firm scratch.Only wish they had made the thickness and heaviness of it all the way down to the end really is no need for the tapering off/ thinness at the end of the scratcher. What I’ve got is a solid wood feel at the end all the way up to half the stick and then a feeling like at some point it’s going to break off right at the part where it starts getting thin and I’ll have to replace it...which I will because it’s a good one but I hope they fix this one thing.

Well-made product, but the scratcher portion of this back scratcher is not angled enough to actually scratch your back sufficiently. Looks great though and is sturdy.

I bought one of each type of wood, and they're both attractive and well-made/sturdy. I personally like the scratching surface--it definitely let's me "scratch that itch" and isn't too sharp. Others with more delicate skin might disagree, but in that case I'd suggest scratching yourself through your clothing, or you could use sand paper to wear down the "tines" as some have suggested, but these are perfect for me. Highly recommended.

This really does the job well. So much better than metal claw ones which slip around on your skin and don't quite do what they're supposed to. This one is a) attractive, b) really effective. Plenty of length to get the job done. So if you don't need portability, this is the the best.
