The notebook is good quality but the pages are too thin to use felt tip pen on.

Great little notebook. Clever that they're called "Decomposition." I love it.

I gave this to my son with a nice pen and a lesson on how to manage a project he's working on (he's in high school). It made the difference in his sitting and listening and he has this notebook with him all the time now. It's become his most important tool in a huge project.The black tape binding did start peeling back the first day of use, but I glued it down with Elmers and it hasn't budged since.

I bought this "composition" book to log problems with my boat and make notes, etc. Thinking that it was a real composition book with the wood cover photo and it being made from with the enviroent in mind.The item arrived with little to no packaging and got slightly bent during transit.The back black binding is just tape that already fraying and starting to fall/peel off.The corners of book are "Rounded" It looks like someone did this with a pair of dull scissors by hand. Looks very choppy and home made.The book is twined together with string. The string goes straight down the spine in the middle of the book. Making it so the book does not close properly leaving the top half pages floating above the bottom half leaving a giant gap.The top of the book where the paper was cut is at a slant and frayed looking due to being made with poor equipment.I do not trust this item to hold the important info I was going to put into it. I would be surprised if the pages started falling out in a couple months or less.Not happy with this product.

Recycled. Pleasing to the eye. Relatively sturdy. What more do you need?

I thought this was going to be completely white in its pages since I bought a similar "decomposition" notebook previously. I would not buy again. It has the same "composition" notebook pages. It's okay.

Great paper quality, well made, and it looks awesome too! I use it all the time and it holds up very well. I'll definetly be getting more of them.

These notebooks are great usually, the pages are reeeallly good quality and natural feeling, and the insides of the covers have really cool maps and pictures. I've gotten lots of these notebooks before, and the pages don't tear easily and are pretty thick, thicker than normal comp. book paper. Even though the picture shows it having kind of square corners, beware, these ones are rounded like all the others. The notebook itself was great, except it came in a suuuuper thin one of those beige envelopes that I forget what their called with just a little bit of padding inside. When I opened it, the corners were all bashed in and the back cover was tearing. The notebooks are great, the shipping not so much.

A bit flimsy and wasn't in the best condition - love the design though.
