I am so disappointed. Someone had written a review about the slight noise the light makes. I asked about it and was assured by the seller that there is no longer any noise. BIG FAT LIE. It makes a high pitched ringing noise that is definitely distracting on videos. I've wasted my money on this!

Light is horrible

Product came exactly as described/pictured by seller. Shipping was on time & came packaged well. I am so in love with this ring light! I was expecting this to be kinda cheap but I am really impressed by the quality! The light is so bright & it is dimmable which is very handy. It is super light weight & only requires 2 AAA batteries which isn't that big of a deal for me. Also this is a clamp light which you put over you phone which makes it easy to remove & not hard to remove like the bulky light cases. The Selfie. What a great time to live. But you know what? That front facing camera is terrible. And the front facing "flash"? You mean making the screen really bright to light up a face? Pfft! What a joke! Cue the OLume 36 LED Selfie Ring Light. What an impressive piece of hardware. Clips right to your phone as if it were a chip clip sealing up the freshness for that bag of Doritos you couldn't finish in on sitting. This light can light your face up at 3 different intensities. It take two AAA batteries which it does NOT include, so be prepared to empty a remote or dive into the "toy" box for those extra batteries to power up your shameless duck face for the 'Gram.In all seriousness, this is a great ring light for your cellphone. And not just for selfies. It's a great light source that is softer and less direct than the onboard flash on most phone cameras. It's slightly diffused, and has 3 different brightness levels that you cycle through with the push of a button.I would've given this 5 stars, but the rubber pad is a bit sticky, and it has a slight high pitched buzzing sound on the lowest setting. It's likely not to bother most people over 40, but I can help but hear it and be put off by it. I'm obsessed with photography but not really into selfies because they aren't very comfortable to take with my Canon DSLR. I love the option for the 3 settings to allow you to chose which light you will need for your environment. I found each one to be acceptable to providing a great picture that I would not hesitant to post on any of my social media accounts. The ring stays in place after you clip it on the phone. I know can see why some have used it as a makeup mirror. I keep it with me all the time!!!
