No better than saliva in keeping the electrodes, on my sports heart rate monitor, connected.In all honesty after using it, I don't think its made for this sports application, more like lubricating an ultrasound scanner etc.

I bought this at the recommendation of the MyZone help desk and I'm very happy. I only use a tiny amount each time and it keeps the heart rate belt reading accurately, whether I get sweaty or not. It doesn't leave any residue on the belt, or do any damage. Highly recommend this product.
