The difference between silicone and putty is amazing. Putty is so much more comfortable and lasts longer. The putty is easier to shape to the ear making the ear plugs less prone to cracking. I use a tissue to gently blot them on each side and to store on between use which I find extends the life of them considerably and keeps them clean.

I've been buying these same ear plugs for many yrs even before they hit Amazon. I tried so many different earplugs & devices that never really worked until i found these. I don't know what i'd do if they stopped making them??? I even use them during the day or when i ride the bus & since they are skin color people think that they are hearing aids & leave me alone, which i luv. I've never really listened to the instructions about them about just sticking them on the surface of your ear. i jam them down as far a i can without hurting myself of course. Like i said 15~20yrs almost daily i've been using these ear plugs the same way & so far no problems at all, but everyone is different. I have had many brain cancers & so many other issues for over the past 23yrs that i can no longer stand noise of any sort. noise will trigger migraines & so many other problems. (Did i mention that have to live in a low rental high rise apt. building where there is 24/7 noise.;-( I t took a few tries in the beginning for me to get used to the earplugs as they are pretty sticky for a day or 2. Reading a comment many yrs ago, i bought them & i followed another buyers technique. They are a soft doughy silicone & i would manipulate them into almost like a 'hotdog look". I shoved them down into just before my ear canal they would stick in there. so i would kind of panic when they wouldn't come out easy but now i don't think twice as it's all i know. I use them for about a month & then i jus throw them away use a new pair. (Never soak them in alcohol or bleach to clean them that will destroy them... if you think they are dirty, throw them away) Good luck.

Im a disabled veteran some common noises cause me extreme anxiety making it extremely hard for me to sleep. I have extremely sensitive hearing when sleeping, if something wakes me up I wake up extremely agitated and anxious. These have been an absolute life saver! Super comfortable and excellent noise cancelling. I wish I could give it 100 stars! I cant live without these! Thank you Mack's from the bottom of my heart.

Gostei mas dura pouco

Uso spesso i tappi perché mi dà fastidio il rumore mentre dormo, il problema è che dopo un’ora cominciano a fare male le orecchie a causa del tappo, e un po’ di rumore si sente sempre. Questi tappi invece hanno annullato il problema, non vanno infatti introdotti ma coprono il padiglione interno offrendo un’insonorizzazione eccezionale, mancanza di fastidio e dolore e rimangono in posizione tutta la notte!!
