Q: A review said suit was similar to neoprene which is heavy; is this regular swimsuit material or not?

From my point of view, this suit is regular swim suit material. I am 80 and this suit does a good job of keeping my 80-year-old skin from flapping in the breeze. I bought several. My only wish about them is that the back would be cut higher showing less of my bony spine.

You can not see through the swimsuit material

Q: How do you take this on and off?

Actually it slips on easily. Hold it by the straps that go over the shoulders and step in. The only time it was difficult was on a day when I was sweaty from playing on a hot day, and it simply wouldn't just pull up. But otherwise it's never been a problem. I like this suit since I'm 80 and the long legs keep my old thigh skin from showing.

Q: Is the bottom lined or just a single seam?

Single seam...nice material...almost like neoprene...Slimming but not too tight...I have 3 now.
