Weird taste, I love it.
You do definitely get a bit of that bitter pure caffeine taste if you're familiar, but the mint flavor helps a lot to counteract it and for me personally I kind of love it. I usually get these like once a year and just use them for a week before I get into work.In the long term I don't recommend them if you actually enjoy caffeinated beverages, I find myself still wanting to stick to my routine of drinking coffee or an energy drink at work so it kind of spoils that unless I want WAY too much energy.

Tasty with a side of acid.
Got these to help with the caffeine habit as a comp sci student, cut down on sugary energy drinks.Things taste great, did exactly what I needed and I really like em. They had this weird battery-acid like flavor at the end, but it was still pretty good anyway.

Bad Taste - doesn't matter if it works.
The taste is not good. Like coating chalk with sugar.

Good boost, not so good taste
When you first put one in your mouth, its taste is great for like the first 2-3 licks. Once the initial burst of flavor is done. It tastes like you're eating a mint flavored with those pink sweet and low packets you find in restaurants. It does leave you feeling ever so alert.I just recommend throw one in your mouth, chew it up and swallow it as fast as you can and chase it with a glass of water. This isn't something you'd want to suck on.

They need to remove glycine from these mints.
I found it interesting that the packaging for this product is so small and that there is no room to list the ingredients. Only by going to the seller's website can you find a list of ingredients. These mints actually contain 60mg of glycine per tablet. Glycine is an amino acid that induces sleepiness. What's interesting about glycine is that it can initially be calming. However, it can then convert to glutamate because glycine enhances NMDA receptors. Glutamate is the primary excitatory neurotransmitter in the human brain and it can raise anxiety in people who are naturally high in glutamate. And that's precisely what happened to me. After consuming just two of these mints, my anxiety went through the roof about an hour later and remained elevated for several hours. Glycine is also an essential metabolite for cancer cells. Just something to be aware of and not really something that should consumed daily. These mints also contain quite a bit of sucralose in an attempt to mask the straight caffeine anhydrous that you taste. All the reviews complaining about the taste are due to biting straight into caffeine anhydrous, which is not pleasant. Due to the questionable ingredients and poor taste, I would stay away from this product.

Great for long drives
These little mints are perfect for keeping fatigue at bay while on the road without drinking and having extra bathroom breaks, decent minty flavor, not overpowering or toothpaste-y
