I've learned the metallic htv is very sensitive to temperature, so you'll probably want to test a small piece with your iron since temperatures can very. You'll want to use the lowest temperature you can that'll still get it to stick..I used 285F and ran an iron that was turned off to cool it a little with the plate over the transfer sheet, then waited like the instructions said. It takes a little more effort to peel than regar htv, but you want to avoid turning the temperature too high because it'll burn and change colors/get very dull and bubbly. It's a beautiful color once you find a good temperature for your iron

This was my first time using this brand of htv and I loved it. I purchased this gold to make some shirts for my sons school for their graduation. The color was perfect and it was easy to cut, weed, and iron on.

So I love the vinyl! It’s perfect and beautiful on fabric. However , I’m kinda disappointed that it didn’t turn out Purple and Blue like the pictures suggested. I’m going to try to see if they can send me another roll of the correct color. But I would definitely recommend this company!

This HTV is so pretty. I used it for the first time today so I can't speak about how long it will last but it weeds and sticks well! Make sure you allow it to cool completely before you peel the carrier sheet off.

I got this vinyl and wanted to cut right away. I was making a large order and wanted to get started. I set my Cricut machine to the specific pressure stated in the instructions. It cut right through the carrier sheet. I decreased pressure and was getting so frustrated. I finally got the correct settings and cuts and weeds like a dream. The press was gorgeous and I am saving this vinyl as a favorite for future use. DO TEST CUTS. So many things can factor into a good cut; how sharp your blade is, how sticky your mat is. Find the one that is right for you. Once you get it, this product is amazing.

Australian buyers beware. Description says rainbow HTV PU 12" by 9 foot and the item I actually received says Rainbow metallic foil and it's only 10" by 5 foot. I'm not sure if there is a gap between Amazon Australia and Amazon US. I tried to get assistance, the order number I have is not in Amazon AU's system, I was told its a US order number yet I haven't made any direct orders on Amazon US.

Incorrect sizing. Product is only 10" wide. Very disappointing as 12" was required for my projects.

I use a mini heat press, it has 3 settings. I've used various HTV and holographic HTVs with no problem on these canvas zipper pouches (see photos).This vinyl... I found tricky. Can't fault the effect when I get it, it looks awesome, and worth the price. But I tried all variations of settings (heat settings/certain amount of seconds/different pressures) and I kept getting what you see in the first picture. It looks like I've heat it too long with too much pressure that the holo effect is ruined, but when I switched to low heat and little pressure, the vinyl wouldn't adhere, and so I would have to go back over it, creating said issue in the first photo. It was frustrating. (It's cold peel so I didn't try and remove the backing too soon).I contacted them asking for advice, and after a few messages they suggested (as did a friend) that I keep the heat press moving instead of pressing down (as it recommends on the paper wrap included with the vinyl, so warning, don't do that) and perhaps I should try a different material. I did managed to get a decent transfer following their advice, but I still get issues with the vinyl not transferring properly, and I've tried it on a a cotton tote bag, also, with similar issues.It's very likely, partly user error, I'm always one to hold my hand up and go 'maybe it's me', but I've used other holographic HTVs with none of this, so I marked down the 'easy to use' and 'adhesion', as this has been my experience. But I love the effect and I do think it's great value for money.Hopefully my issues and solution might help someone else.

The media could not be loaded.  I got the red metallic one as a friend had asked me to do a tshirt for a theme day. I of course said yes..even though I had never done it before. I already have the cricut explore 3 so knew the basics and thought I'd give it a go. The first time didn't go that great...the image wasn't weeding at all. After lots of faffing about with settings I managed to get it to weed perfectly,I did the foil setting,more pressure and ran it through a second time (don't remove your mat when the cut is finished,press the "play" button so it cuts exactly the same places again). And it worked like a dream. I used the cricut press 2,first on the tshirt to remove creases and moisture (its a must) then to affix the image to the tshirt. (145° for 30 seconds front and back) I also had a sheet of Teflon over the image and the heat pad underneath. Left to cool and then peel. Worked out great. Would buy again.
