The 5003 BackLight Stand is a multifunction light stand that can hold Two flash heads (or Monolights) at once! The top mounting stud and the removable leg mounting stud are 5/8' machined brass. The removable stud has machined threads on each end. One end mounts to the leg, and the other has a 1/4-20 thread. The non-removable top stud also has a 1/4-20 thread. The 1/4-20 threaded ends come equipped with removable protective plastic press-on sleeves. The stand extends to 3 feet, collapses to 20", and is designed to allow mounting of one head on top and another to the foot at the same time. The center two telescoping sections can even be removed for tight situations making the stand then ONLY 4" TALL! A 4046 Adapter is needed when mounting older 3/8" stud mount Novatron heads on this stand.
