These whiskey stones are the best for entertaining! My boyfriend and I like occasional whiskey and cocktails and also enjoying having them with friends.. What we hate is when the ice dilutes and waters down the taste of good whiskey. These whiskey rocks solve that problem and provide the perfect chill to some pricey whiskey!These are great quality scotch rocks and they even come with a nice storage case. They look great when sitting in the bar. These stones are great to use for any of your favorite spirits without diluting the taste if you let it sit for awhile while having great time with your family or friends. The best thing about them is how easy they are to clean. We just rinse them in water after each use and stick them back into the freezer. Definitely recommend whiskey rocks for anyone looking for a nice mens gift too!

Ive tried cooling down some Gran Marnier 2x now. The first with 3 stones and the 2nd with 4 stones. Ill say that the stones do work. However, my experience is that all 9 stones would be necessary to properly chill for each drink.

I ordered this as a birthday gift thinking that it would come with the wooden box as pictured and it did not. Very disappointed.

I got these stones well over a week ago and tested them with Bourbon as well as Single Malt Scotch.When the stones first arrived and I unpacked them, I noticed that the nice "case" that they come in is not solid wood but some sort of thin wooden structure lined with a very thin and fragile top layer of wood. Dyed balsam wood, perhaps? Anyway, I barely touched the case in opening it and a flake of the outer layer of the case came off; not off to a good start, guys. I promptly inspected the stones to see if they were clean and non-porous (they are) and threw the entire thing in the freezer to cool down after giving the stones themselves a good rinse under the sink.Hours later, glass of bourbon in hand, I decided to try the stones. I figured I'd start with two. Minutes later my room temperature bourbon is still basically room temperature. Not an impressive change in temperature. Anyway, this goes on for about a week with me alternating between the bourbon and the scotch and I just can't seem to get the # of stones right to sufficiently alter the temperature of my drink. Finally, I give up and put all of the stones in the glass and I *maybe* get 1-2 degrees difference which doesn't make sense to me because of science and heat transfer and all that but whatever.The bottom line here is that if you're looking for something to give your beverage a little bit of a cool down without watering it down, you may have better luck elsewhere. I drink my liquor quick enough where it getting "watered down" isn't a huge factor so maybe I'll try one of those large spherical ice molds next.PROS: Neat (but cheap) case and carrying satchel.CONS: Stones themselves are just "meh" and didn't really sufficiently alter the temperature of the drink.I must also disclose that I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for a fair and unbiased review. This set is great, we love it, I use 3-4 stones per drink. I will be buying 3 more sets for parties, they keep my drink cool, not icy though.

I bought these Whiskey Stones for my husband as a birthday present (along with a bottle of his favorite whiskey of course) and he loved it. Not only do these stones do a great job of chilling his drink without diluting it, he now looks like a whiskey connoisseur when enjoying his drink. These make a great gift because it already comes in a nice wooden case and a separate bag to use in the freezer. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Christmas gift! It's small and adorable (So only for 1 person really) But my cousin loved it! The packaging is nice and the box is beautiful!

These work as promised. I like them because they don't water my whiskey down. It cools it without diluting it.
