Didn't cure it, but man it makes walking so much easier. I've been primarily using this shoe around the house and around town (they look pretty good), but using my sturdier and waterproof Merrells for long walks and hiking. Very comfy fit and secure grip on outer sole.

I ordered and returned the first order of my regular 11.5 us medium width because they fit, but the toe was at the very end, returned for full refund and free return shipping ( PRIME member which is awesome and really worth the annual fee), ordered the 12 US medium width and have worn every day. I am 54 years old and have plantar fascitis and atrophy of the musculature of the ankles; due to extended cast wear for upper extremity orthopedic issues in my youth. Walking, climbing, ladders, and exercise has always been about endurance, stiffness, and subsequent pain at the end of the day. Lots of ibuprofen. As i get older it is always harder to endure any kind of walking activity; Disney World, Smithsonian, Boston, Charleston, and work. I just took a job as a project manager for a historical high rise conversion to 5 star hotel and apartments building (21 stories) and I been walking 5 to 8 miles a day up and down steps since April 6, 2015 and really suffering. I use orthotics in my shoes and special socks, and different shoes. Lots of liniment, everything imaginable, and still daily pain. I received these last week and straight out of the box with nothing else I can't believe I have no pain in my ankles just normal expected fatigue from working all day. GREAT for me!

I really like these shoes. I have back challenges. Walking 25-30-miles a week, I have not had any resulting back pains with these shoes... however, I always wear size 13's, but after the first week, my toes were still touching the ends. The company would not allow them to be returned because I hadn't purchased them directly from them. However, Amazon did, so I ordered size 14's... They fit well... the sizes don't seem to be true.

Confort

I am on my third and last pair of Vionics. I have purchased the same style sneakers and the same defect keeps happening and customer service just wants to talk over me, blame me, and ignore the problem. I give up on this brand. The defect is the leather separates from the white foam dial by the toes. I noticed small areas that started to separate when the shoes were one month old, then those spots keep getting larger. Stones and sand get into that pocket and it gets worse. Don’t waste your hard earned money on a company that ignores defects and customer dissatisfaction.

I ordered a half size bigger then I normally wear and the shoes were still too small when I tried them on. I was able to get my feet in them and did feel like they might be comfortable if they had fit right. I've returned them to Amazon and ordered a larger size. The second pair fit perfectly and the pain in my left heal is starting to subside. It was such a significant difference in wearing these for just one day that I no longer had my limp by the second day. Just make sure that when ordering these that you order a size larger then you normally wear because these shoes are undersized.

If you wear less than a 12WW these are good looking and well-made but undersized shoes so go up half a size. Unfortunately for me half sizes above 12 are not available. The W is a tight but workable fit even with my extra wide feet. Replacing the insole with an orthotic is a no go due to the tight fit for me. Fortunately, the provided insole provides good support. After a few days I was able to wear them for casual walking around without discomfort. I won't reorder another pair unless half sizes are available over size 12.

This is my son’s 3rd pair of these shoes and he will not wear anything else. He says they are the best shoes and very comfortable.

It’s much shinier and bigger than I expected. Looks not so similar to the photos.
