GREAT for elementary music!
I'm a huge fan of John Feierabend's elementary school music curriculum. I think this is one of his best books. As a former singer/actor, I love the idea of introducing fun movement games into the elementary music classroom, especially the kind of imaginative games that are found in great acting/improv classes. Here are just a few examples: playing slow classical music and having the kids walk across the room as if they're moving through Jell-o, playing classical music and having students walk when you walk and freeze when you freeze, and playing classical music while pretending to be stars dancing through the universe. The kids LOVE these imaginative games, and are constantly asking to play them again and again. I let one of my 2nd grade classes have a "game day" once, and they said "can we play the walking through Jell-o game?". Kid tested. Teacher approved.

I have met John Feierabend in person and let me say I was honored to have this in my collection. I teach 3 year olds and the activities are perfect for that age.

Some fun ideas
Good to have in your repertoire for movement activities. Could be used in music, gym, dance, or just as a regular classroom activity.
