Perfect for WHAT IT IS DESIGNED FOR! This is not a thick bladed hatchet. It is a scalpel designed to allow you to surgically field dress, quarter, and debone any animal. I used ONE blade on 1 elk and 3 deer during the same season. This knife allows and teaches you to carefully handle your game one on the ground. If blades are coming off while in use, I half to believe people have gotten into bone. Read the instructions and use this scalpel carefully...very carefully. I won't hunt without one.

This thing is scarey! If you buy this please be carful. This is not a knife! It is a scalpel. It is CRAZY sharp! One slip and u can cut youself to the bone! That being said, amazing pocket scalpel. Awesome product and great price!
