With already soldered pull-up resistor and interference suppression capacitor, the module is immediately ready for use and can even be plugged directly into the digital I/O pins via the freely addressable 1-Wire data interface. 1-Wire also allows the parallel use of as many sensors as your controller has signal inputs. Programming to read out the temperature is easy due to the many freely available libraries. The DS18B20 is 3-5.5V-tolerant and records temperatures from -55°C to 125°C with an adjustable 9- or 12-bit resolution and a maximum measurement tolerance of 0.5°C. The DS18B20 can be programmed to read out the temperature at any time. To process the data, the sensor requires a maximum resolution of 750ms - updating the values every second is therefore no problem. Thanks to the breakout design, the AZDelivery DS18B20 can be easily ed on other objects with an M2.5 screw. With its dimensions (LxWxH) of only 28 x 13 x 7 mm (24 mm length, if the angled pins are included), there is always a free space for it.
