All-Style, No-Stink. Our collars are created with a special blend of synthetic polymers that won't absorb moisture, retain dirt, or harbor bacteria. And that's great news since, let's face it, if it's wet, muddy or stinky, your dog will find it. When he does, just rinse the collar under a bit of water and you're ready for the next adventure!

As advertised
Absolutely positively love Dublin Dogs no stink collars. My dogs are wet all summer long & these are the only collars we have ever had that do NOT start to stink when your dogs are water dogs. The pale green matches my dogβs eyes & the brown trim matches her fur. She looks & smells fantastic.

Smells, Bulky, Pulls Hair, Loose buckle
First of all, I paid for this at the regular price and this is a real review just like the good old days. It's long because I know how difficult it is to find real information on these products and all of our dogs have different needs and preferences. First I'll list the measurements I made on a size Medium using a caliper accurate to 0.01" followed by my opinion.MEASUREMENTS (Medium)--------------------------------------------------------------------------------19.25" -- length end to end1.01 " -- width0.75 " -- between holes4.51 " -- first to last hole0.18 " -- total thickness* / includes the inner layer 0.06" and outer layer of rubber 0.12"2.10 " -- buckle1.41 " -- d-ring, top to bottom. Inside dimensions are 1.13 x 0.720.52 " -- rivet* Note the thickness of webbing (from Ruffwear Top Rope collar) is 0.06"REVIEW--------------------------------------------------------------------------------[1] Rubber stenchI took this out and immediately smelled a stench of rubber from from 23 inches away (collar on counter to my nose). I am not sensitive to smells and it did not make me gag, but it is powerful and cannot be ignored. I don't like the idea of the smell right under his nose possibly interfering with his walk smells. Dog did not care when I put it on him and I think it will resolve in 1-2 months.[2] Color is dull.Looking for colors that pop off my dog's white coat; color contrast makes it more likely he will be seen if he's on the loose or otherwise in the danger zone. The red here is a dull red approximately 50% as luminous ("bright") as the red depicted in the product image. It's what I expect the red in the photo to be after a few years of use.[3] BulkyCompare the thickness of this at 0.18 inches to a standard webbing collar like the Ruffwear Top Rope at 0.06 inches and you'll see why I think it's such a bulky product. Most no-smell collars are composed of webbing + a urethane layer (see the Dublin Dog Trout Collection) or are a synthetic leather biothane (see Omnipet Zeta series) instead of such a bulky rubber. It looks like this has a webbing vinyl on the interior which is exactly the thickness of webbing, but the outer rubber adds a ton of bulk (0.12"). Not to mention this would make it seem more like a chew toy than a collar to a dog, and provides little benefit over a sleeker, lighter webbing-based alternative.[4] Catches furThere is 0.15" of space between the edge and the stitching of the two layers. This creates a "lip" that bites my dog's long fur. I don't recommend for long haired dogs.[5] Quality hardware but loose buckleI will say the D-ring is nice and open for leash attachment which is uncommon. But I don't like the 0.5" of side-to-side play that the buckle has in its rubber sandwich, and there should have been more attention paid to the rivet spacing, and fastening this component down for a more secure fit.

Stylish Dog Collar that does not Smell!
I have a water dog. Every time that we would take him to the dog park swimming, his collar would smell, even after we bathed him and it! I finally broke down and bought this collar. He has worn it for a year and a half and it still looks and smells brand new!As for the aesthetics, people complement the collar all the time. I even had a vet tech say something about it, which seems like high praise considering the number of collars they see each day.The fit is a little off. He is right in between a large and a medium. Since the medium would be too small, I went for the large and it is on the second to tightest notch. You can see the extra sticks out in the picture of him from the front. It is still a little loose in my opinion, but he has never slipped out of it and he seems to find it comfortable. He actually bugs me to put it back on, when I take it off to brush or bathe him. I guess he really likes it, lol!

Great for dogs who swim a lot
This collar is great for dogs who swim a lot. We have a yellow lab and he is usually swimming in the pool, creek or lake (or lounging on the couch). Prior to this collar he had nylon collar and a fabric collar. Both of those collars stunk making Maui one stinky dog. That is not an issue anymore. The collar is great and we would definitely buy this collar again.

I love these collars (we just got the medium one for ...
I love these collars (we just got the medium one for our other dog), but this size is huge and the medium size has no overlap with the large size, so we can't go down. I have this on the tightest hole and the extra length sticks out quite a bit. I hope one day these are sized with more overlap so that it's easier to find one that fits. The large is on our plump lab/pit bull mix with lots of extra skin around his neck, so I'd imagine if you have a bigger dog and usually have to get an XL collar you might be able to make this one work. The medium actually ended up being the best fit for our great dane because her neck is so thin. It's nice not to have to pay the extra for something big enough for her!Other than the sizing, these look great, are secure, make a huge difference with our water-obsessed pup and seem super durable.

Good for the money, just wish it was a bit cheaper
Runs smaller than expected- my 65lb mutt needed a L as the medium was too tight on the last hole. Otherwise, I prefer these as they last much longer than the traditional cloth bands. Durable for outdoors and easily washed whereas typical nylon bands just smell after going through the washer. My previous collar lasted three years before deciding to replace it because it was bending away from my dogβs neck.

Great collar
Love the pattern and colors. We have a pointer and she looks great in it. This is her second collar - the first one lasted well over 5 years and we just wanted to give her something new. Old collar still perfect - she swims in the intracoastal with salt water and it is almost super indestructible.

My dog will never ever wear it.
We already own two Dublin Dog company collars, we wanted a third for our new rescue, and what was received was shocking to say the least, in the pictures provided, we show a true Dublin Dog Co. No Stink Solid collar, which is the green urban camo, in comparison to the black and red thing that turned up damaged in the woefully inadequate shipping method of just the collar in a jiffy bag, our collars shipped in tough clear plastic packaging that needs a sharp knife/scissors to get in to, not this one.The collar appears to be a thin cheap faux leather covered material that has a neoprene strip stitched on one side, the edges are dangerously sharp, if the collar is on the wrong way, it will cut the dogs neck, there is no strap loop, and it is not waterproof as water will get behind the neoprene and if it's dirty water, it will end up stinking and holding bacteria, same for the ends of the collar which have no seal for the edges, water will ingress there and cause issues. The famous guarantee that is shown on the listing on the inside of the collar, and was on both of our other collars...is just a short paper thin tag, there is no trademark shamrock anywhere to be seen. The buckle prong is only 20mm long, which can allow the collar to slip, it's half the size of the other collars buckle prong. All I can say is I wouldn't put our dogs at risk with the collar, it's certainly not to the high standards that I'm used to from Dublin Dog.

Perfect.
Definitely doesn't stink.Perfect.Have bought 2 spares as well as the medium I already have, as this colour is being discontinued, but there are lots to choose from.Have got the medium for my Labrador, the large size collar I had at first was too long and didn't have a buckle to tuck into so stuck out.

Excellent for water loving dogs
Love this collar, my spaniel always in water from puddles to the shoreline, previously I have had to wash and dry collars each time. This one wipes clean and metal work doesn't rust from sea water, would like a harness in the same material.Well worth the price
