InviCible Scars - Scar Cream with Silicone, Aloe and Vitamin C - 0.9 fl oz, Hypoallergenic Dark Spot Therapy and Scar Treatment

I have had this product for a little over a year now. I waited to write this review. The instructions say use it 2 to 3 times a day. I admit I only used it once a day after showering. My scar is in a tender area and is about an inch long. It was raised quite a bit. After a long time, for me probably 10 months, it seems to have helped reduce visibility and the scar has become less raised. Unfortunately I don't know if that would have happened anyway or with just mild cream application. Since I didn't use it the 2 to 3 times a day I rated this a 4 star rather than a 3 star. It certainly does not make the scar invisible. I didn't expect that to happen of course. But using this over such a long period makes it difficult to know what impact this alone had on the changes. If you have some scar that bothers you and haven't had other success it is probably worth a try.

*UPDATE*I continued to use this product in hopes that it was actually doing something (it's kinda expensive and after a bottle I did see some difference in my scars...). So I continued use for a third bottle (there is not a lot of product in here, so I go through them quickly) and it left what looks like superficial chemical burns on my skin YAY. Scar treatment that opens up opportunities for new scars and is fairly expensive compared to safer options? I think I'll pass... I threw the rest away and am writing this review in hopes that it stops someone from having the same experience as me. Also, because this has silicone in it, it will 10000% clog your pores and cause breakouts if you're using it on your face. I tried it on some of my acne scars, and after one application I had a breakout that lasted about 2 weeks. I'm not sure what's going on with that review that is talking about a decrease in their acne, but it looks like they are spitting lies on amazon in return for a free product. (if you don't believe me look up what causes breakouts- this product is absolutely not noncomedogenic).Mederma is A LOT more effective than this, and it's cheaper and comes with more product. This one is super greasy and heavy, so I wouldn't use it as a primer like they advertise is okay to do. It also burns a little because of the vitamin C content. I bought two bottles and used 3x a day for several weeks, and saw better results with mederma after THREE DAYS of application.

I am currently on my fourth consecutive week of using this product, so I will come back after week twelve to update on the full effectiveness of the product. The cream has no unpleasant odor and it actually has a really nice texture/consistency. It spreads on very easily. The scars I am using this on are pretty deep and raised, so I originally expected to have to use this product longer than the recommended time. As of right now there isn't the slightest difference, but my case is severe and I'm only a third of the way through the recommended time. I wish it came in a larger size for more widespread scarring because I know I will have to order another tube to make it through the twelve weeks.

I am a bit suspicious of all the 1 star reviews that showed up for this product in August and September. When I bought it a couple of months ago it was a 5-start product on Amazon. It seems like a competitor may be trying to do a little sabotage.I have had very good luck with this product so far on my recently healed incision from a basal cell carcinoma removal on my nose. I was trying Arnica gel at first and wasn't seeing any results. I also tried pure silicone gel but again saw very little progress. I think picked up Invisible Scar and within a couple of days I started to see improvement. It was't dramatic, but it was movement in the right direction and it continues to improve scar. My experience has been very good so far and I will definitely continue to use. I am a regular buyer and was NOT given the product for free.

My burn scar is now barely noticeable! Applied as directed (twice a day.) I used this product longer than 12 weeks. I had a really bad burn scar on my forearm from my oven. Once the wound was no longer oozing, I applied this scar cream and also wore sunscreen if my skin wasn't covered by a long sleeve shirt. After about 6 weeks the difference was noticeable, but I kept going because I could still see it and I knew that the description said to use it for 12 weeks. Months later and it is now barely visible! I have some freckling on my arm due to age, so what little is left of the burn basically blends in. I really think anyone who says it doesn't work didn't use it long enough to really see the results. I am very happy with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy another tube should I need to for future scars.

I read about this on mybeautybunny.com. She usually does great reviews so I decided to try it. I mean, I’ve tried everything else for my acne scars so why not. This is the first product where I can actually SEE the difference. It has faded both pink and purple scars, some to the point where I feel comfortable not even wearing cover up on them. I have been religious about using it 2-4 times a day like they say so I’m sure that helps. I hope this review helps someone else the way this product helped me. Thank you to the manufacturers!!!
