My mom originally ordered a pair of these out of one of the many catalogs she receives in the mail. I think they were $9.95 plus shipping. She was critical as to whether they would be "worth a hoot' in her words, but at the age of 95 regular reading glasses were not doing the trick any more, so she decided it was worth the risk. Turns out they are exactly the right magnification for doing her puzzles, and if she's happy, so am I.The downside of these glasses are that they are plastic and are flimsy. The earpieces are not screwed on like normal glasses, they just dovetail together, so if you are in the habit of taking your glasses off by grabbing them by the corner hinge (like pretty much every person in the world), you are gonna jerk the earpiece off the main body. It's easy to put back on, plus I've taught my mom to always handle them by the main body. BTW, she broke an earpiece on the original pair and we had to Gorilla Glue it back on. The main reason she wanted two more pair is so she didn't have to carry the one pair around everywhere. Also, the orig pair with the broken wing wouldn't fit in her purse...lol Now she has 3 pair and is quite happy.You might think that with the caveats stated, I would not give these glasses 5 stars. If I was rating the original glasses that were $9.95 plus shipping, I would give them a 4 (or even a 3 if the shipping was high). But at one pair for $6.99 or 2 for $10.99, I'm giving them 5 stars (since I have Prime, I don't know what the shipping would be on these, so maybe they are a 4 if you have to pay shipping). They do they job as advertised, and if you need them like my mom, then they are great.

Have purchased four pairs of these glasses. They are great except the ear piece on right side of them keeps coming off and needs to be reconnected several times a day.

I like it but I should have purchased the one with the light. The nose part is a little uncomfortable.

I love these glasses for sewing, however, no matter how cafeful I am putting the glasses on & taking the glasses off the ear piece breaks off. The ear piece has broken on every pair I have, my husband super glues the ear piece back until further breakage happens. Just wish the ear piece could be designed better

I have bought this product many times because the magnifying glasses work great BUT the right arm ALWAYS breaks with use. Never the left 🤪 I have no idea why.

Purchased these since they had the same name as some I had purchased elsewhere years ago but they are NOT the same. On one pair the bow broke almost immediately and the nose piece cracked in two, the second pair would not keep the nose piece in place. I just attempted to return them after having been in the hospital, and the return date has passed. I advise you to look at other magnifying glasses. These are not worth the small price I paid for them.

These are adequate to get the job done. However, the nose piece becomes dislocated with time.
