Glad Tall Kitchen Trash Bags ForceFlex Plus With Clorox, 13 Gallon, Lemon Fresh Bleach Scent 90 Count

I rarely write Amazon reviews, but came back here – two months after ordering this product – to tell the world that this expensive trash bag has changed my life. I live in a 1-bedroom apartment with my wife and puppy. For some time we were going between Kirkland Trash Bags and the regular Glad Trash Bags. We were used to living a life, for several years, where every now and then we would be sitting on our couch and would get a whiff of the trash from even 20 feet away. We just lived with it because we thought it was normal, and you couldn't do anything about it. Then I saw an advertisement for this Glad ForceFlex with Clorox bag. I was super skeptical, but thought if it actually worked, it would be worth the cost.The first day we used these bags, we instantly could tell the difference. We stopped smelling our trash. This meant the pee from the puppy pads no longer got through the bag; seafood messes didn't stink up the apartment; leftover chicken with bones didn't linger outside of the bag. Honestly, we were blown away. We didn't know having an expensive trash bag would actually change our lives as much as it has. We're thankful, and can only assume the chlorox liner in the bag is what is killing the bacteria and odors that would normally seep out of the bag.I've read some of the other reviews, and I know some of the talk about bags breaking or other issues. We've never had a bag break. These are truly fantastic bags. That being said, we aren't putting sharp objects in the bags, nor are we stuffing these bags past their capacity. I think if you use the bags as they're intended, they'll treat you well. If you live in a small apartment like us, these are truly life-changing trash bags. (I never thought I would ever say that in my life.) After using many tall kitchen bags I’ve found a keeper with Glad ForceFlex with Clorox Lemon. These are the sturdiest & most durable kitchen bags I’ve come across. We fill our bags to the rim & the majority of the time they are heavy. In this box of 90 bags I haven’t had a tear or rip. The tie up enclosure has never ripped on me either. The scent is the best part! Oh I love the lemon smell of putting a fresh bag in but especially in taking a full bag out. I smell not one nasty scent of what may be in that bag, all I smell is lemon & I love it. These may be a little pricey for 90 but I take advantage of Amazon’s subscribe & save program so I save a little extra & order at my convenience. I’m happy I gave these a try, they are well worth it! I highly recommend!!

One of my biggest peeves is pulling out a full trash bag and finding that ooey gooey liquid has seeped into the can and worse dripped onto the floor as the full bag is walked outside to trash bin. Our household tends to overstuff the trash can by pushing down the trash until there is literally no more room to push down. So far, we’ve had no tears or drips from the abuse we put these bags through. Their strength and stretch abilities are great. We’ve used scented bags in the past, but all they really did was make the decaying rot have a sickly sweet smell which was nauseating. These bags with the Clorox technology and scent really do an amazing job of eliminating the trash can smell. The scent says it’s lemon, but we get more of a flower smell. Either way, we will only use these bags from now on!

Very good product

I bought this particular scent [Lemon Fresh Bleach] because citrus is supposed to be an "odor killer" especially in the kitchen. I often dispose of pet mess and strong smelling food items (fish, onions, garlic, etc...) and have to put the bagged trash in a container in my garage until trash day {2x a week}. However the lemon bleach smell was very faint and didn't hold in the odors. In addition to that, the bag was hard to put on a regular sized kitch garbage can and often the bag tore when trying to do that. I don't think I'll be repurchasing it anytime soon.

Smells great and very durable

Glad ForceFlex is our go to garbage bag, but we usually buy the lavender scent. While both do a pretty good job of masking garbage odors, I'm not as keen on the lemon scent as I am the lavender. I won't downgrade my rating just because I don't love the scent though. These are seriously the best, most sturdy kitchen garbage bags around.
