Bene-Bac® Pet Gel 4-Pack - Four 1g tubes

I find instructions a little confusing but i did some research and have been giving my bunny a pea size once a week ish and she loves it

Just what the doctor might have ordered except I didnt need to consult one - I happened on this product when I was looking for something ANYTHING to help control the frequent bouts of virulent diahrea in a little dog I was fostering about 2 years ago for a pet rescue. She was a tiny little thing struggling to survive and the bowel problems were not helping. Among other problems she was struggling with a very bad case of kennel cough. Well the tiny little thing surprised us all and went from being a wimpy one pound to a healthy 14 pounds today. Whatever it was she had is well behind her now and she is no longer a foster, she's mine (we bonded because she spent the first few months of her life tucked inside my shirt). For whatever reason she she has a suscepitiblity to diahrrea if she gets too excited or nervous if I have lots of company and/or the company slips her table scraps she shouldnt have - but I don't worry about it because I know this will bring it under control. It was, needless to say, a messy and unpleasant problem before which was hard on both of us. Actually I'm surprised this product isn't as well known as it should be among rescuers, more like a closely guarded secret but take it from me it works.

My bunnies have been having a lot of digestive issues despite keeping them on a mainly hay diet, was recommended probiotics by my vet, but couldnt find any rabbit specific ones in canada. Saw lots of good reviews for bene bac but also few negative ones that made me feel nervous, but i can notice a significant increase in appetite after feeding a small rice size amount to my bunny. Shes a small girl so one tube is lasting a while. Planning on giving her once a week in minimal amount, should last quite a while.

My guinea pigs love this! Easy to use. I squeeze a little on my finger and they lick it off. Some of mine like it on their food, some try to bite on the end of the tube to get it out. It's great for a bonding time activity. And it's great for their digestive system!My vet even recommended the brand. Had a bacterial imbalance in one of my piggies and we used this alongside our perscribed antibiotics. He's much better now.I like that I have to cut the tip off the end under the cap because that way I know it's fresh.The only downside I see is how tiny the tubes are. I have 6 guinea pigs so I have to make bulk orders. Wish I could find a package with more than 4 tubes.
