I just received this product. The software takes at least 3 hours to download. I contacted customer service and was told the product cannot be used without the software. All I wanted was to capture an image and display it "anywhere" in my classroom. This is too difficult for such a simple request.

If you are buying this as a scanner I'd move on. I've attempted to download their software 3 times and it's very slow and then it fails after hours of trying to download. Without it this just takes a picture and that's it. So if you need something more than a camera this won't get it done without the software and good luck getting that downloaded.update downgraded to 1 star. Finally got the program downloaded and windows asked me how to open it. Its not an executable. This thing is a joke.

We aren’t even sure if this is built correctly with all the electronics intact. Driver instructions are incorrect, company cannot be contacted, expensive rip-off and scam.
