Really simple and safe to use to harvest colostrum although i would say, the NHS should be able to provide you with enough

One thing to take into account the narrow tip makes it hard to collect the colostrum.My baby was in NICU on a feeding tube the nurses struggled to get the liquid down the tube. They needed the wider edge to make it work better. Something I have never considered until it was needed x

These were fantastic for colostrum harvesting after 38 weeks.

I've been collecting colostrum every day since buying these and at first I wasn't sure how easily I could collect one handed without drawing from a cup. I found it very easy to use one handed as the action is smooth and I placed each syringe back into its packet and added it to a zip lock bag in the freezer with the others each day. Very pleased

These syringes are great and I’m very happy with them. The tip is wide enough for collecting the colostrum directly from the nipple (if the tip is too thin it can be blocked easily, which is not the case). The plunger goes up and down very smoothly, so it’s easy to operate it with one hand while expressing with the other. The cap closes the syringe perfectly, very important for keeping the colostrum in the best condition. 100% recommended.

Perfect for colostrum harvesting! I’m on my third box so far, definitely worth buying.
