I was looking for a reasonably priced organic face cream that does not test on animals. I am also the person who reads the ingredient list on beauty products because I don't like chemicals, carcinogens etc - this has none of that stuff (no parabens, sulfates etc). This face lotion goes on really nicely and has a light "silky" feel to it. My face feels hydrated all day, and doesn't get that oily afternoon look. I am switching from a more expensive department store brand that I have used for years, because I like this more!!

My best friend Danielle from H.S. recommended this product too me. She is a former colleague of Mr. Krell and swore by it. I am getting to the age where my fine lines are becoming visible (yikes) and where I am spending slightly more on skin care. I had been jumping around between whatever healthy, natural face cream was on sale at Whole Foods but never feeling satisfied. Then I saw a Facebook contest my friend Danielle entered and won. I asked her about it and I decided to try it. I love it. It doesn't cause any sort of reaction and provides the level of moisture I need to combat my aging skin in a high desert climate. Thank you!

I need daytime protection but avoid anything that will leave an oily layer. Also I avoid cosmetics with sulfates, parabens, artificial fragrances, etc, and choose products with botanicals. This Daytime Defense is wonderful. It is readily absorbed, hydrates, and my skin feels nice and soft. This is a great value as you only need a small amount. I highly recommend it.
