DuncanToys Windrunner Yo-Yo [Red with Blue and Gold Splash] - Unresponsive Pro Level Aluminum Yo-Yo with Double Rim, Concave Bearing, SG Sticker Response

Don't let the fact that Duncan is an old company dissuade you from buying their yoyos. They may not be edgy and cool but their yoyos outperform most others at the same price. This is not a beginner yoyo. It's an unresponsive so you need to learn how to bind to get it to return. For beginners go with something like a Hornet. Once you are ready to go to the next level this is a great next yoyo. It's hefty but well balanced. It's angular so people who like organic shapes should keep that in mind. As for my self I got this after a Yoyo Factory Uppercut, which was about $10 more expensive, and found the Windrunner much more stable for doing tricks. In the 20-30 dollar range this is one of the best yoyos. It suffers when comparing to the 100 buck yoyos but for what it is, it's hard to beat.

This yoyo is amazing, it has excellent spin times and is very light. The wide wide angle of the design makes for easy trapeze catches and sets up for other tricks. The purple yoyo and green string combo is also a very nice combination of color. I highly recommend this yoyo

The Bad: The only issue I had with this object is that the string that it comes with is not that great. 2 days in and the string broke.The good: Fairly smooth spin, nice finish and weight balance and total weight feels great.When I placed a newer better string on it, it became a really wonderful yo-yo. With that being said, strings need to be replaced on any yo-yo fairly often.Not a starter yo-yo.

Good quality and awesome color

I had no idea this would be so fun yet so challenging. It’s so smooth & balanced. I take this everywhere trying to get better. I love the challenge.

This is a really nice and smooth unresponsive yo-yo. Definitely a winner by Duncan. The V shaped design makes it comfortable in the hands, while the edges are slightly rounded so it's not sharp when you have the fast returns. The other benefit to the design is that it helps add additional weight to the outer rings, in addition to the double ring pattern in the cups, which make it very stable and help increase spin times easily without adding a lot of heft to the yoyo itself. It has a good weight to it, but also feels floaty at times, very unique throw. Would 100% recommend people give it a shot if they're interested!

Yo yo was shipped without a string .

I still got a great deal so there's not a lot that can be done and the yo yo works great, but this thing was not like new. They could have replaced the string and they didn't. Someone bought this, tried, failed, returned it with the crappy string lol. There's a couple dings but probably nothing I wouldn't create eventually anyways with play. I'm keeping it. But I guess I'm not going to buy another Duncan. This experience was very shady haha

Nothing will go wrong if you go with any of Duncan’s unresponsive metal yo-yos. Wind runner’s silent, stable and has that tad bit of weight for accuracy.
