The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee

Personally enjoyed the full experience! Great exposure to Hogans personal life, some light shed on the darker side of celebrity fame. The movie isnt made in a serious nature and at times rings true to an episode of TV's CHUCK. There is plenty of laughable material, some very good wit and punchy scenes that poke at Hollywoods nature and silliness. Its not though a serious movie! Its a light and funny true to Hogans comedy and edgy heart! I truly loved it and enjoyed what may be some of his final work! Thanks Mr. Hogan! We truly enjoyed you in our lives! Never knew Australia existed before Crocodile Dundee! From a small kid in WV, your vision changed my life.

The trailer makes this look like a funny, entertaining movie. Unfortunately, the trailer is the best part of the whole film. It was AWFUL, and I can't believe so many top-billing actors put in for it. This is truly a "Rona" project movie that was thrown together with the idea that since people are stuck at home, they'll pay for anything. I fell for the bait, please, don't you do it too!

I've never seen a bad Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee) movie. That's right, none! Age takes us all though. Our time of glory is like the simple flash up of a match burning when it's first struck against something abrasive. This movie was a little short while at the same time a little long in the tooth but Crocodile Dundee maintains his dignity as always and wins in the end. I'm glad he was there during my time. Thanks, Paul. You are first class all the way.

I was looking forward to watching this, but ultimately could not finish it. despite a few excellent cameos from other actors, it was just painful to watch. About the time some weird musical number about "that's not a knife" started playing, I had enough. I don't know how it ends, but I'm sure it all turned out for the best.

Wanted to like this however it was very slow and after an hour into so painful we turned it off. Essentially 1 hour of our life and $6.99 we won't ever get back.

Although it’s definitely not a Crocodile Dundee sequel, it is definitely a cute film with some very clever moments and genuine smiles, chuckles, giggles, laughs, and even a few hearty guffaws throughout. I thought the ending was a bit forced but besides that, I was engaged and entertained the whole movie, and found a few scenes to be especially funny. Plus some fun cameos (John Cleese as an Uber driver- classic!; Chevvy Chase as, um, Chevvy Chase; and reigniting my pre-adolescent Koala Blue crush was Olivia Newton John).Is it the funniest movie of the year? No. But is it an entertaining and fun movie? Absolutely. Paul Hogan is a talented and very funny man, and it was great to have him make me laugh again!

If all you want to see is Paul Hogan's friends in Hollywood go ahead. Terrible movie, mediocre concept. In the movie they joke about pitching him a new Dundee movie, as bad as that sounds it would have been better than this waste of film time. The hijinks that are advertised as the punchline of the movie may be funny to some friends and fans of Hogan but beyond that the cameos from John Cleese, Chevy Chase and Olivia Newton John aren't worth it. Too bad.

We watched this thinking the writing would be the same quality as the Crocodile Dundee flicks; sorry to say, we were sorely disappointed. Weak plot, weak jokes, and portraying Paul Hogan as a Wile E. Coyote or Sad Sack character just fell totally flat with us.

I love Paul Hogan, that is why I purchased his movie. Unfortunately the movie was so bad, I was grateful when it ended. I would never rewatch this movie, so I feel it was a waste of money.

It was a good laugh.
