Great Machine Work
Adapter threads smoothly onto the step down ring and eyepiece ring. I purchase my NOD second hand, and it did not have a NOD PVS-14 Optical Retaining Ring. Once I purchase and installed it, all was assembled in a minute. Check to insure your unit has internal threads to fit this ring and you will be set to go. Needed to connect your adapter, to your PVS 14. Highly recommend! Fast shipping. Fast reply on your question. May buy again.

Works well for it's intended purpose
It does a great job enabling me to mount my Canon DSLR to my PVS-14. It is important to note that this adapter is designed to mount to a 46mm camera lens...so I had to purchase a step-down adapter so it could mount to my 62mm lensIt's a little clumsy to use the first time, but after a time or two, it get's easier. I don't think it could be done much better without adding a couple hundred $$ to the pricetag.

Does the job just fine
no more awkwardly holding your NOD in front of your camera. mounts to the eyecup retainer of your PVS14 and secures via the included threaded ring. the threads on mine seem roughly machined but despite this, I don't worry about it falling off or breaking in normal use. I use a 52-46mm step-down ring to mount to a Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens.

Works great. Don't forget the adapter from 46mm to whatever filter size your camera lens uses. I bought a 58mm to 46mm Step-Down for mine.
