I used to get gel manicures in the salon because I like how long they last but they're so expensive! I figured I'd give this a try and see if I could get the same results at home. Amazingly, I did! You do need the UV/LED light to cure this obviously...it isn't going to dry without it. But painting it on was simple, curing it was fast and easy, and my nails looked glossy and didn't chip for well over a month. (Actually, they didn't chip ever, but after a month I had a lot of new nail growth and was ready to change the color anyway.) I do a french/graduated glitter nail where the top half (next to the cuticle) is clear but then glitter gradually thickens towards the edges like an update on the classic french. This makes it less noticeable as the nail grows. It was easy to apply by myself and stays nice even through the abuse of digging in my garden, washing dishes and kayaking every weekend. This stuff is great! I love it!

The shine is amazing, it last long no chipping or fading I highly recommend.

These Gels are great. I have a surgically removed toe nail and the base and top coats are the only ones that have stayed on that toe for 2 weeks. I am amazed.
