Manufacts produced by Il Bronzetto company, realized with precious marbles, assembled with bronze casting obtained by the lost wax technique. A wooden mould is created through carving and sculpting the desired shapes and decoration. A molten metal is poured into a mould that has been created by means of a wax model. Once the mould is made, the wax model is melted and drained away. During this alchemical process, the fluid metal take the place of the lost wax. Intricate and detailed metal works can be achieved by this method. Therefore the brass casting model are smoothed, engraved and galvanicly gold plated in order to obtain the final handwork.
