Going to Last a Long Time
I was really cautious of spending almost $40 on 'bones' for my dog to chew on. But since she's been chewing on my furniture I figured $40 was well worth it if she'd leave my banister alone! I've read a lot about how rawhide could be bad and all the additives that are put in it can be toxic in large doses. As fast as my dog goes through rawhide (or pretty much anything else) I figured that was not good. These antlers are shed naturally by elk and I had read were really tough. These are definitely tough and will take my dog a long long time to chew through. She has had the one split that came in the bag and barely made a dent in them after a solid 2-3 hours of her chewing. I would definitely buy these again but I'm thinking it'll be close to a year before I need to at this rate. I do wish a few more splits would have come in our bag because I'm not sure the whole antlers will hold her interest as much as the marrow from the split has.

Good antlers but dirty
I have 5 dogs (two whippets and three Bostons). It is the Bostons that primarily use these but I have to buy a size (1 lb medium) appropriate for my whippets because occasionally they will chew on them. The antlers durability is fine for my sized dogs (from 10-33 lbs) but they made everything dirty. Every time the dogs would chew one of these it would leave behind a dirty mess on any fabric surface. I have used antler for years and usually buy another brand but they were sold out so I decided to try these since they were the same price. The other brand does not leave behind the dirt so I am going to stick with the other brand. Also the other brand rounds the tips of the ends of the antlers, which I like.

Splintered almost immediately
These splintered almost immediately and we had to throw them away.

Best $$ ever spent!
BUY these, you will not regret it. My pup has chewed my carpeting, slippers, etc. Normal for a growing pup, but very irritating. I bought him one of these and completely satisfied all of his chewing needs. They don't get all slimy, and gross like most bones, and things do. He also loves to bark, but when he has one of these to chew on, he no longer cares about barking. He brings it with him EVERYWHERE, cant leave our room without it, ya know or sleep without it either (haha). Every time I come into my house now with an Amazon box, he goes absolutely crazy, and tries to knock it out of my hand, because I cannot open it fast enough. He knows his favorite Antlers come in those boxes. So if you really want to make your dog happy, and want money well spent, buy these.

One Star
After my first purchase I returned the package as my 2 year old lab splintered the split antlers right away. I was worried she would swallow a piece and have issues. The owner of Buck Bones contacted me directly and sent me another package at no charge to try them again. Our lab did it again. BUT both our Corgis, our friends Brittany and my two granddoggers (both labs) did not splitter them. Obviously my lab is the exception, she is enjoying the whole antlers tremendously. I have changed my stars to 5, when an owner of a company contacts you directly for a possible defective product, that is worth 5 stars to me! I will not hesitate to buy these again, but I will give the split ones away to dog owners whose dogs cannot split. Thank you Jackie!

All brands are NOT the same!
I have 2 large "super chewers" in the family. One is an American Staffordshire Terrier (74 lbs!) & the other is a still growing 95 lb Malamute pup. They can obliterate a tennis ball in 1.2 seconds! Then I discovered Buck Bones antler chews. THEY LOVE THEM! "Antlers are antlers", right? WRONG. I made the mistake of ordering from a different company AFTER my dogs had Buck Bones brand. Wouldn't even touch them!!! Went back to Buck Bones, and viola! Happy dogs once again! I now have Buck Bones antlers on automatic shipments thru Amazon. Happy dogs make for a happy owner!

Outstanding quality, just wish there was more than one split.
Outstanding quality antlers, but I did not receive the variety of split and whole like I had expected. They were all beautiful 6" pieces (four whole pieces, one split; again, best quality antlers I've ever bought), but I only received one that was split out of the entire $37 package. I was hoping for at least two halves since I have two big chewers that love the marrow. Still a great product!

Worth every penny
Top dog!My young puppy really enjoys these. Gave her the split type to start off with and she goes back to it time and again, gnawing for England! Still going strong and reckon it will outlast any other. Most importantly doesn't splinter. Very impressed.Exceptional, courteous communication and first class service from this seller, recommend without hesitation.

DO NOT BUY!
Bought these for my four Staffordfordshire Bull Terriers as nothing stands up to their jaws for more than 5 minutes. All four adored the antlers and I thought that they would be a hit for some time to come.Move on three weeks and we notice one of them has a huge gym abscess and is generally under the weather, a trip to the vet confirms two broken teeth and a severe infection which the vet said will be due to the use of antlers.Whilst my dogs love them, I won’t be buying again it’s caused her a lot of pain and a £500 vet bill.

Super long lasting chewchew.
My dog Ali loves them, and gets so excited when I give her a new piece. They last quite a long time. She is not a hard chewer.
