Equalactin Laxative Chewable 48 Tablets

I don't remember where I first came across Equalactin but I have been grateful ever since. It's a bit troublesome to use because you do have to pay attention to the instructions and drink a full glass of water after chewing up a couple of them. But, they don't taste bad - kinda citrus candy-like - and they REALLY WORK! Regardless of which way things are going, this stuff brings you back towards normal. For me, the usual problem is diarrhea. Equalactin absorbs excess liquid in the bowel and forms neutral bulk. I have a couple before one or more meals because it seems to work best that way in my experience. It's so soothing! Everything settles down and I can go out in public again without being worried. If you have the other extreme - constipation - it helps by absorbing and holding the liquid in your diet to ensure things don't become to firm.I don't know why but it's really hard to find at local stores and apparently not that popular. Someone missed the boat in their advertising department, I'd guess. Give it a try - it's a godsend!

I discovered this about 15yrs ago while traveling and suffering from IBS. I have not found anything that works as well and as quickly, without a prescription.It is hard to find at drugstores which amazes me.

This product has really helped my nervous stomach. When I feel it acting up, I take one and it makes a big difference.

This stuff is a God send. Better then any prescription medicine, and I've had several. A couple of tabs and symptoms go away in 15 minutes. Don't forget to drink a FULL glass of water after chewing them up.

These work well for those that have sensitive digestive tracts. If drinking alcohol causes your stomach to be upset, chew a couple of these before going to sleep to prevent the beer-runs.

No more belly aches or other embarrassing problems. Helped relieve a strange burning in my intestines which felt similar in other body parts (if you get my drift!) Sorry to be graphic but if you have pain like that, you know what I am talking about. This helped my sister who has even worse problems than mine. It increases how much you go but it is not painful. Have been on it, two in the morning and two at night (which is half the recommended dosage) and it has helped the pain considerably.

Thanks to Amazon's marketplace, this amazing product remains available. I have not been able to find it in drug stores, pharmacies, or any other retail location but it is and essential in our household. No matter what the lower GI problem, it seems like Equalactin can remedy it. It restores the balance of fluid in the gut and, usually within two or three doses, resolves the issue. Much gentler than laxatives and much quicker and definitely gentler than the more commonly found antidirrheals.Simply put, this is a wonderful product at a very reasonable price.

A doctor recommended this for me about 10 years ago, and it worked like a charm. Now I'm having a recurrence of symptoms. I couldn't find this drug in ANY pharmacy, so I tried about 6 other medications that didn't do much for my IBS symptoms. I finally just did an Internet search for Equalactin because I remembered how effective it was, and was ELATED to discover that it could be purchased from Amazon. Bottom line: THIS WORKS. I'm throwing the rest of those medications in the garbage.
