Albert Augustine 522A Silver Black Label Classical Guitar Strings

After trying a lot of other strings, a friend who plays professionally recommended these strings to me. I tried them. I've used them ever since, for decades. This set of strings includes regular tension trebles and light tension basses. They sound wonderful, with brilliant, clear tone throughout the set. I've played classical guitar for over 50 years. These are the best strings I have ever played.

These are very well built as they have not snapped on me when I first put them on to set the tuning on my classical acoustic. I can hear a difference with them even with my crummy old beater guitar.

Great practice strings for the acoustic guitar. Easy on the fingers, stays in tune, smooth tone. All around a great product for the price. Very happy.

Stirings are fine, but the alteration in Augustine packaging could be improved upon. Saving packaging material is to be praised, but could be better achieved by simply labeling each string rather han bagging packs of 2 each

The guitar strings arrived promptly despite being expected much longer. I have been using them for some time now (around three weeks) and play every day. They play almost as well as when the guitar was first strung with them. There is some sign of wear and tear on the high E string, however. Although, I’m unsure if this particular string is faulty. This hasn’t affected the produced sound luckily. Would recommend buying these if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to more expensive strings. They suit anyone who treats classical guitar as a hobby, not a profession.

Hallo,obwohl die Saiten für mich zu dünn sind, hab ich sie bestellt, da meine Tochter Andeutungen machte,sie würde gern Gitarre spielen lernen.So lang ich mich zusammennehme und zurückhaltend spiele klingen sie auch wie gewünscht.Warum ich aber eigentlich hier schreibe hat folgenden Grund.Hier werden des öfteren reissende E-Saiten bemängelt.Dieses hat einen einfachen Grund. Beim verpacken wird die E-Saite mit der G-Saite verwechselt.Wenn die G als E gestimmt wird, kann sie nur reissen.Also einfach beim auspacken diese beiden Saiten miteinander vergleichen, was an der Dicke erkennbar istund dann richtig herum aufziehen.Gruß Wurzelsepp
