1266 & 7463 Adjustable Gland Nut Wrench Set for Hydraulic Cylinders Universal (Set of 2)

This worked perfectly on my 1990 Johnson 40hp outboard tilt and trim hydraulic cylinder. I tried another brand but the pins were too small. The only complaint is the little bolt and nut that hold the the two jaws together needs some lock tite to keep it from working it's way out and coming apart, otherwise great value for the money for my project.

The wrench itself is nicely designed and manufactured and appears to be good quality. Unfortunately the bolt supplied is not. It is too small in diameter, too short, and the wrong type. I could not get it to remain tight during use. I ended up using an 8mm flange bolt and flange nut. This required drilling the holes in the wrench halves very slightly larger, but there is plenty of material to do this. If this had been shipped with this originally, I would have given five stars across the board.

Not bad and arrived quickly, but why would you assemble this with the pins flipped so each side has one large and one small pin. Now I have to remove the roll pin, punch it out and reverse one side so the pins are the same on each side. SMH

Ordered and worked great for a cylinder that I almost destroyed trying to get apart. Put this on and it spun right loose couldn’t believe it.

Tried this on a virgin gland not. Nut had never been turned ,wholes were perfect.Wrench wants to twist out of alignment every time you put pressure on it. Works fine after I broke the nut loose by a different method.
