Highly recommend for comfort

You get a lot of sock here for your money, but there is a compromise. Obvious, I guess.The socks feel cheap and the material is pretty scratchy. Saying that they have lasted well, no holes and they wash well too. My son and I both wear them and they're easy to pair because of the colours.They're OK, but I wouldn't buy them again. Would spend a bit more and get a better quality sock.Fine for the money though.

Good value socks

We have the dreaded sock dimension taking our socks, I'll put three pairs in the washing machine and I'll get one matching pair and two odd socks back. Either that or my neighbour is stealing them which I wouldn't be surprised.So it is imperative that we stay one step ahead and have lots of pairs.So the quality is really good, I never buy expensive socks because there's no point unless I have more cash going in my bank than goes out monthly.These are really nice on my feet, they wash well, the colour stays strong, they are hard wearing and just as importantly your feet don't sweat in them or do they feel the cold easy.This is my second pack which is due to the aforementioned sock dimension, so I still have around 75% of that previous pack and this keeps my stocks at a decent level.Go on, they're better quality than a certain high street budget clothing store, and sock for sock they are cheaper.

Ignore the dog hair on these on the photo!I needed some new socks, quickly, as my dog has the habit of stealing mine. I’m not much of a sock snob (partial to a pair of bamboo ones from sock shop, but funds mean I normally stick to Asda smart price ones which are five pairs for £3.50)These were the cheapest I could get for a few pairs and next day delivery, I paid around £6 for a packet. They’re men’s socks but as a woman with size 8 feet they fitted fine. The pattern isn’t what I’d normally go for, but they’re cheap and just for loafing about the house so I don’t really mind.They aren’t very soft, definitely hardly any cotton or viscose in the material. The seam isn’t too bothersome like some cheap socks I’ve tried. They seem durable whilst not being too thick, I’ll report back if I get any holes in them or they wear through easilyThese definitely aren’t sports style padded socks, they are just plain ones. But that’s what I wanted.The elastic fits my plus size ankles fine, not too big (I hate dedicated plus size socks with wide elastic, they always fall down) or too small and tight.Haven’t washed them yet but I can’t see why they wouldn’t wash fine. Will report back if not.Probably wouldn’t buy again, but just because they aren’t that soft, and the colours aren’t my favourites. Okay in a pinch.
