I just recently purchased a Galaxy Tab S8 and it is a wonderful tablet. As with any mobile device I use, I always invest in a good case first and have never had a phone or tablet that had a cracked screen or damage from being dropped. A $20 case is always the best insurance.I was looking for a case that offered screen protection, ease of holding in my hand, a functional stand an docking point for the S Pen. This case checked all the boxes. Considering the S7 Tab is the exact same size, my S8 fit in this case perfectly. Installation is easy, especially if you are used to 3 piece shell cases. I had no fitment problems whatsoever with this. The case comes with an installation tool, a tool to help when stringing the optional shoulders strap through the holes in the case and a shoulder strap (of course). I find that to be a nice touch. Once installed found no gripes. The kickstand might be the only point of weakness that I can see so far but with gentle use there should be no problems. The velcro strap is comfortable and the ability to rotate it is good. The strap is long enough to adjust to your style of wear and seems sturdy. Overall a good case and I hope I'll never need another. As another user stated, you won't be able to store your S Pen on the sides but the pocket this comes with is perfect for magnetic strip on the back so it's a minor loss. I'd recommend this for anyone that has occasional bouts of clumsiness or who use their tablets on the go.

I brought this for protection and handling of a 3 year old. My son plays ABC mouse and watches dinosaur YouTube videos and has definitely dropped it a time or 2. Adequate protection- the only thing I'm not too fond of is the rotatable stand. I like it , it just doesn't rotates well, causing it to be lopsided often. It's fixable, just a nuisance

A quality case for a great price. I haven't found anything that I dislike. I was concerned that the fingerprint scanner would not be accessible but the scanner works great in the case. Swipe actions work great from all sides so the case edges do not impede swipes. The case doesn't add any appreciable weight and it is a nice snug fit. The adjustable hand strap on the back of the case makes it a lot easier to hold the S8. The pen holder on the back keeps the pen secured so that it doesn't get knocked off like it does without a case. Basically, the case not only protects the S8 tablet, it also makes the tablet much easier to handle and use. I'm not going to try to see if it stands up to a drop test but it looks like it is sturdy enough to protect the tablet. It's all good.

I dont usually wite reviews, but i had to this time. I just got my Samsung tab 8 and but this case to protect from drops. However a month in and I dropped from my bed to the floot Don't buy and my screen cracked right down the middle. It's hard to see in the picture and at first I didn't notice. However the "drop proof/dropped 1000 times" is clearly a lie. Your choice but I wouldn't buy this again if I had to do it all over again.
