Burned My Coat
a. The pads appear to heat up to about 100 degrees, however, I couldn't feel much heat while wearing the coat.b. I bent over to pick up something off the ground and one of the leads shorted out and burned a hole in my coat's inner liner and outer shell.Lucky for me I noticed a strange chemical smell and unplugged from the power source after a few seconds. Otherwise it would have probably burned my shirt and me. I wish I had never tried them.

Exceptional heating quality, didn't last very long
When received, it was fairly obvious that this was the functional innards of some pants/underwear that are sold elsewhere on Amazon. It made sense as a solution for me since (1) I can never ever guarantee the fit of garments produced overseas, and (2), it was far less costly if I could adapt this to clothing I already have.I used it first the very day I received it, by just tucking the pads in place underneath some thermal underwear pants. Using a 10000 mAh portable usb charger/battery, It started right up and I could feel some impressive heat within a second or two. You do need to maneuver the wires, of which there are many, in a way that isn't awkward. And since there are so many pads they'll inevitably be left in a tangle. But considering what its for, it was a minor convenience. I eventually sewed pockets onto the same thermal underwear so these could be slipped in place as needed.Wearing outside at night in close to freezing temps (mid to low 30s) with a brisk breeze, and I was fine. My friends were bundled up and surviving but you could tell they were cold. The hottest mode gets hot enough where I felt like I needed to bring it down some. The lowest setting is barely perceptible, and the medium setting is just enough to keep you warm but not really feel heat coming off the pads. But if you want cozy, set it on high. That 10,000 mAh battery did not last for more than a few hours before it started to edge toward low. In my case, when it headed toward 30% or so, the output reduced and the heating pads turned off. I could still turn it on but had to do so every few minutes. I'd say 3 hours or so before it turned off. Keep in mind it was on high most of the time.I'm right at 5 weeks now and it no longer works. After using it for about a dozen times it won't switch on. The fault was easy to see... on the back of the switch the rubber used to seal the wires to the switch has broken away and one of the very thin wires (guessing 22-24 awg), has separated.IMHO, this really is a great product that really works, but the durability leaves something to be desired. If sewn into a garment permanently, you would still need to carefully manage how the wires are pressed against stress points.Would I order again? Yes. Actually at the price point its not bad. I'm planning on ordering another and plotting a way to reduce the risk of those wires separating again. I'm also looking at a more robust battery. It's getting 4 stars though because of how easily it broke as I was gentle with it.PROS:- Really instant heat, and high setting is very cozy- Inexpensive solution but you'll need to have your own battery/powerpack- It's "low profile"... thin pads that slip almost anywhere.CONS:- Was not uber durable, need to be careful with it- The plethora of wires is an annoyance- Is a bit of a power hog, and you'll need a big battery to run it for extended timesHonestly... if you're cold... warmth is worth the trouble you go through to get it.

Not warm or worth the price.
Not a fan of the heat quality, I bought two and the plug gets warmer than the actual heat pads. There’s not really any heating element. From a glance it looks to be a thin sewn in wire in between the piece of fabric. If you stack them all together it actually gets pretty warm. Pointless having all the wires that should be leading into like a coat pocket or something, when it doesn’t heat up more than my own body heat creates. 😔

Not good
I liked the multiple heat pads. However they do not heat much beyond a barely warm. There are no instructions for this. The on off button is confusing to know if it's on or not.

Caught fire on first test use.
Caught fire on first test use. There's no mention or warning about not letting the pads touch, would have been useful to know before hand. Guess I'll try again

Barely any heat at all
45° C is laughable. My hands get warmer just by breathing on them. Avoid this product it’s a waste of money. Will be returning
