DC Power Supply Variable 30V 10A, Eventek Adjustable Switching DC Regulated Bench Power Supply with 4-Digits LED Display, Alligator Cord/Test Lines

I have start new project where i need variable energy source to test and fix different device that required different voltages. I came across this Eventek. Price was in my range and i read few review on YouTube sound good to me. I bought it and then before I use it, I thought why not test it using my multi meter to see to test and my multi meter shown exactly what the supply was saying. only small thing is the wire you have to screw open to put those two cable but i am sure they have done for safety purpose instead using pin cable where you just insert it.

Very compact and works well. Good value for the money and a very useful tool for the workbench.

Easy to use .but did have to use a multi meter ,on ohms range to checkout the leads and recrimp the terminal

Came with scratches on display protection film, looks lime been opened before. Accuracy is good enough for begginers, but slow display response and very sensitive dials are annoying. As for 300w unit price is right, but i would suggest more expensive one or even different brand.

I use it for my breadboard and fault finding audio amplifiers it’s very accurate and being able to vary the current is very useful

it shorted out on me after a few days. i opened it and found the earth wires disconnected and they touched the circuit board causing a short circuit.

Ordered this Variable Supply as 1) wanted it in black 2) cheaper than some of the other ones out there.First one I ordered came sealed in it's box, but opened it up and found marks on the dispaly and bezel (first 2 pictures). Thought "these things happen sometimes" so sent back for a refund and ordered another one. Next one arrived a day later, but this time the box had already been opened and I was to discover that this one had damage on the screen and bezel (last 2 pictures) like the first one I had received but in diferent places.Didn't even bother testing the unit itself as not goign to use something that came damaged, could have worked very well.Sending back for another refund but have learned my lesson and going to pay the extra for a different one.
