Atwood (96010 Ring and Gasket Kit

I bought these as a backup set in cased the ones that came with a new water heater were bent in the installation. An I only bent one, so it was a smart move (youtube install video recommendation). Fit fine.

They are dang near impossible to install. Unfortunately if you try to install them on the unit you ruin them, then you can’t return them. I ended up using a 2 1/2”hose clamp that I bought for $1 and it worked fine.

First one went on easy next one wouldn't go on put hose clamp on second one I can use hose clamp they work fine

The rings and gaskets worked great. They are snug to install but fit well and will not fall off.

I ended up not needing these because the tank I ordered came with everything I needed, but they were well packaged and seem of good quality

Installer must have special tool to install easier

I bought a hot water tank and ordered this ring and gasket kit as you did not show the gasket kit in the pic of the tank that I bought so now I have a gasket kit that will never get used. Is there anyway that I could return the extra ring and gasket kit.ThanksMurray
