Great Product, but SAVE MONEY by knowing how to read their BAIT AND SWITCH labels!
Great Product, but one star deducted for the slight bait and switch tactic they use to label their product line. Barleans makes a "kids" and "regular" lemon oil that are THE EXACT SAME, just the kids is packaged in a smaller bottle with a cute label and instructions to give less (5 ml vs 10 ml). You're paying $2 per 16 on Amazon just to be told the children's dose, which could EASILY be written on the adult lemon bottle. As you will see in my picture, I bothered to do the math, and they are the SAME EPA, DHA and Omega 3s per ML of Oil (as well as the same ingredient list). The best bargain is their Lime High Potency oil, which is 13% more expensive, but gives you 37%-40% EPA, DHA and Omega 3s per ML. This product is STILL using flim-flam marketing tricks though, because they cheat to make it look like 200% more instead of the true 40% more by increasing the dose size from 10 ml on the adult lemon to 15 ml on the adult lime! The lime is still worth the increase in price, BUT it is so shady that they change the dosing so they can claim on the front 720 mg vs 1500 mg!NOTE: All the reviewers claiming they can taste a fish after taste from the lime are having a psychosomatic response, you CANNOT taste it. I have done a blind taste test with my picky 6 and 3 year old daughters (and myself, though not blind) and we all agreed that all 3 taste like deliciously sweet and creamy lemon and lime (seriously, it is like melted lemon or lime sherbert!). The lime tastes the slightest bit more "artificial" when the flavor first hits your tongue, but there is no after taste. All they did in the lime to make it "high potency" is cut back on water (you can tell because the calories rise a proportionate 33% for the lime vs the lemon). If you are giving your children the "kids" lemon, stop wasting the $2 and just refill your old bottle with the grown up lemon, or better yet with a 50 / 50 mix of the lemon and lime till they don't notice and eventually switch them to the lime 100%. They are even the same color! My kids still excitedly remind me to give them their lemon oil whenever I forget, because they LOVE it, and they've been switched to the high potency lime for over a month now! LOL

Delicious ...
I’m in the rare minority of people that don’t like fish. It’s a long story and I won’t bore you. I’ve tried dozens of brands of fish oil and it’s either fish taste going down or fish aftertaste all day after. My joints and cardiovascular system was begging for some fish oil, but my palate and nose just wouldn’t cooperate. Had someone recommend this stuff ... they swore it was delicious and had no fish taste before, during, or after. Barleans is a very trusted name, so I felt good about the quality of the prosuct (no heavy metals and all that). Annmnddddd ... the product exceeded my expectstions ... not just in taste, but in all the things good Omega 3’s help. You could literally put this stuff in a small pie tart, plop some whipped cream on top, and whoever ate it would have NO idea they weren’t eating a key lime dessert. It’s THAT good. So much so, my bottle “disappeared” in 6 days. Seems the whole family got in on the key lime action. Oh well ... Amazon has more bottles on the way.

Tasted like fish
I am sure that this product is probably good if it stays cool enough but after ordering one bottle and it tasting like fish and then getting a replacement and it tasting the same, I think Amazon is going to have to start including a freezer pack if these bottles are to survive the heat of the shipping trucks. I refrigerated both bottles after they arrived and shook them up a lot before trying and it still tasted like salmon mixed with a key lime pie, which is not an appetizing combination. I truly wish that this had worked for us since I need something for my child to take. I may try it at a store that keeps it refrigerated but I definitely will not be purchasing it through Amazon again.Update - 9/16/19: I purchased the lemon from the store. I couldn't bring myself to buy the key lime again at this point until I tried something else to see if it actually tasted good. The lemon has been HUGE hit in our house. The child I bought it for loves it so much that they ask for more every day and the other child now wants it too. My husband even considered taking it since the kids raved so much. I truly wish it would arrive tasting just as good when shipped from Amazon because it is almost half the price than what I paid in the store and with so many people taking it we're going to go through bottles incredibly quick. As it cools down outside I may try buying it from Amazon again.

Fishy taste!!! Not like the others
The lime absolutely tastes like fish. We started with the kid’s lemon, then bought the peach. My son was excited to try the lime, so we bought that and the adult lemon (realizing that it’s likely the same, but can dose less with the adult version) the kid’s lemon was absolutely fantastic. The peach was good, but I noticed it had vitamin D so stopping that only for that reason. My son loved them both from the very first spoon. The lime he tried and I tried at the same time and he immediately said “yuck that one is gross” and when I tried it I immediately tasted the fish oil rather than the delicious flavor. The first most review is wrong, it’s not psychosomatic. And the calories went up because the amount of fish oil went up. That’s why it’s fishy. Some people have a better palate more acute sense of smell. We haven’t opened the adult lemon, but I’m hoping it’s as yummy as the kid’s lemon. Looks like I’ll be gagging down the lime. Ugh.

EPA and DHA are the most potent types of omega-3 fatty acids!
Daily supplement1. It’s excellent for heart health and supports healthy cholesterol levels.2. The Omega-3s in fish oil also support brain health. Studies show they may be important for mood and memory support.3. Omega-3s in fish oil are peacemakers in your body—they help to lessen the inflammatory response that could lead to health problems over time.4. Supplementation daily lets me be sure that I'm getting enough Omega-3. I still want to consume foods like walnuts and salmon, but since most people don't eat them daily, supplements make it easy for me to be confident that I'm getting adequate Omega-3s.
