This gave me just the boost I needed at the end of this surreal year. A light, uplifting feel-good story that starts on New Year's Eve and provides a much-needed injection of optimism. I loved the international settings, too - a refreshing bit of mental travel in a year when few people have managed to get around much. It would make a lovely film.

Some sections towards the end was a bit wordy but overall I throughly enjoyed this book. Usually books take me up to months to read but I read this in 1 week. A love story but not your usual Mushy smoochy one. It has quirky characters who you can clearly picture. Wish the author had other books!

Fabulous storyline. I really enjoyed the young/old flip and the way each of the main characters reassessed their priorities and the way they look at the world.

I usually enjoy a lighthearted romance but this one just didn't click with me. The story seemed a bit bizzare and unrealistic and I couldn't really identify with any of the characters. I did finish it, incase there was some sort of great twist at the end, but usually I devour books, and this one felt like a bit of a chore to finish.

What a lovely story ❤Really nice read! Looking out others from this author as I enjoyed it so much.
