I bought this for my Underwood 315 because in the product description where it says, "compatible with.." it listed Underwood as one of the typewriters. When I finally went to change the ribbon, the holes in the center of the ribbon wheels are too small. I had to respool the ribbon on the old ribbon wheels, which was very inconvenient. Also, I just checked in the picture gallery and the list of compatible machines doesn't even include any Underwood models though it says it does in the description.

Maybe it sat on a shelf a very long time, but this ribbon doesn't work any better than the old one that I thought was dried out. Id send it back but it seems like a lot of trouble in my already very busy life. I recommend find a different ribbon.

Had been searching for awhile for ribbon for my Smith Corono Calypso. It has the smaller spool diameter and anything I could find in this size was both very expense and showed poor reviews. Finally found youtube video showing how to simply respool the riboon from the more commone size (this one) to my smaller spool. Was easy to do and for the price with free shipping, got my typewriter inked up again.

As you can see from the photo, the new cartridge/ribbon (inkvo) performs worse than the one I wanted to replace. This inkvo ribbon isnt fresh....and if it is, as inkvo claims then the quality is appalling.....not expecting perfection from a 10 dollar ribbon but when you are tapping the keyboard very hard and still cant see all the letters you typed....that is a problem

Came already seeming dried out and the was out of the plastic packaging in my amazon box. Seems like I bought a used one
