Perfect for succulents
Perfect for succulents. Drainage hole is not too big, but not too small. I did not have to use a hole mesh and it drained well without making a mess. The terracotta is perfect for moisture control, soil doesn't stay wet as long. I can fit about 8 small succulents. Reasonably aesthetic. I recommend spraying with a glossy clear coat before using to help prevent staining. Seems pretty durable and sturdy. Reasonably priced.

Perfect!
These were just what I was looking for. Nice and shallow for the delicate root system of Echeveria succulents but not too shallow. Saves me money too because bonsai Jack gravy mix is expensive, so a more shallow dish saves me from using a lot and it also helps the soil dry out faster which is always necessary with succulents. It has a good sized drainage hole and the terracotta is very breathable. I personally like the look of the terracotta but I may paint one of them which is always an option with terracotta because it’s porous and takes paint very well. Just make sure to use a primer first for best results and remember, if you paint it then it won’t breathe or dry out as fast( just something to keep in mind.) everything came packed very well and secure, nothing was chipped, damaged or broken and I’m really happy with them. They have a lovely shape and are well made, good weight to them( without being too heavy) and they seem solid. I keep mine in an indoor garden so I can’t speak on durability outside, but I think they will last a long time indoors. The only negative to note, they did have a rather strange and unusual smell when they first arrived, it may have been from the packing foam but the chemical smell leeched into the terracotta and even after washing and soaking them, it still took a few days for the odor to go away. It did eventually dissipate completely and it's not really a big deal to me at all but I did want to take note of it just in case you are sensitive to smells. Other then that thought, these were perfect and I love them. Thank you! Price was good too. I will be buying more in the future for sure.

Shallow Terracotta Planters
Just what I was needing to divide some succulents. Packaged so perfectly and arrived in pristine shape. Being terracotta, I was thinking one would probably be chipped, cracked or broken but I was amazed that they were perfect thanks to the awesome packaging! Wonderful shallow containers! Very good quality.

Good for consolidating if you have low storage/sun space
I thought this would hold more from the pictures in the comments. Sigh. That is the only reason I give this a four star. These will help consolidate my lovelies, but it is not going to work for what I was planning. Beautiful packing and shipping, and will buy again for small projects!

Good old terra cotta pots, but just a lil more elegant!
These are very nice for succulents and/or shallow rooted plants where you need a pot with some weight (so that it doesn’t tip over). They also have a very nice shape, quite elegant, despite clearly being good old terra cotta. They don’t look as though they’re super sturdy and heavy-duty, however, but they just might well be! Dinging the side with the tap of a pen yields a nice tone.Pots were well packed for shipment: a piece of cushioning film between the pots, pots held together with plastic wrap, the ensemble inserted into a styrofoam “box” that conformed to the exact shape and size of the pots, topped off with a styrofoam lid, and all that surrounded by a cardboard box that fit the exact dimensions of the outside of the styrofoam “box.” I do have some reservations about all that styrofoam, given the difficulties recycling it. I wish they would use more a rigid cardboard setup, which contains cardboard spacers to keep the pots from moving around inside. But I’ve never received anything from China that was packed in heavy sturdy cardboard; so it goes…There were a number of size (and quantity) options on the same Amazon page when I ordered these, so I suspect that reviews from all options will be amassed together. I bought the 2-pack of 8.66” pots. Size notations in the description were accurate. Rim to rim at the top is a tad more than 8.5”; height of pot is a tad less than 3”.All in all, I am quite pleased and will probably explore the other size options at a later date.

Great for succulents
I love these pots. They are an amazing price for their size, they were packaged well in shipping, and they look great. They are truly breathable (can tell from water stains on outside of pot in patches after watering, which terra cotta SHOULD do if you water heavily) so they are great for succulents. My only complaint is I wish the drainage hole were bigger or there were more of them, but my succulents seem happy so I guess it's okay, though it hasn't been super long.I think folks who had these break in shipping, unfortunately it was just because they do come nested. But they had a liner in between and then the bundle of them was inside a whole styrofoam box cut in the shape of the pots, so I don't know how much more they could do to prevent them breaking in shipping, honestly. It's like how Pyrex stuff will only break against other Pyrex - it's gonna hold up to anything else but can be its own worst enemy.Point is, great bowls, especially for this price for this size. I love them!PS Sorry I took my pictures at night so they're kind dark but I know if I don't submit this I'll forget and I want to leave them a good review cuz I genuinely love these bowls

Amazing Packaging
I wanted these terra cotta pots for my plant collection, and not only are they the perfect size, but they came in a very protective styrofoam container, a secondary box, AND they're wrapped together with sheets between them. Not going to lie, I was worried they would break in transit, but they all arrived completely fine on my doorstep, even though the Amazon box was slightly dented. Highly recommend!

Very satisfied!
These are perfect pots for succulents and other smaller plants. I like that they are shallow and include a drainage hole. They arrived free of any imperfections and I would high recommend these to anyone seeking quality terracotta pots of this size!
